7年前にYoyokaファンになるまで50年間JAZZだけ聴いて過ごした爺さんですがこの7年間Jazz以外の音楽をYoyokaさんの動画でロック、ファンク系や他のジャンルの良さを再認識させてもらえて感謝していました。オリジナルを聴いて何も感じなかった音楽を好きなアーティストの演奏でこうも印象が変わるのか驚きでした。そこで最近のKen Okada Groupとの演奏は我が家に帰ってきたような安堵感があります。

If this is anything like the last album it will be fantastic! The chemistry between YOYOKA and the Ken Okada group is just amazing - it is like they have been together for a decade or more.
That was absolutely fantastic! Full of subtlety and drive, it soared and rocked, but ever so delicately. I truly loved that, and I'm astounded that you were able to get it all down, along with five other songs, in that ONE DAY! This is actually my favourite flavour of jazz as well, so I'm very pleased to hear it 🙂

The composition and arrangement sounded really good. Mr. Okada seems like a great mentor/collaborator for you and the playing on this song was really fine. In the past, Fusion would get excessive and try to highlight the soloists more than the music, but this is not the case here and you playing is perfectly in the groove and drummed with restraint and taste. Congratulations to the band and you for making such a fine piece of music.
It’s a absolute win win situation, for the fans as well.

Amazing as usual
I think this song can be really intresting when it settles.
More dynamics between the instruments and parts - highlighting different themes and more improvisation.
When you can leave the score everything will evolve and grow.

Unfortunately because I’m sensitive to flashing lights and I get motion sickness I was only able to watch the first two minutes before feeling sick. It’s unfortunate too because it’s a really good track. Too bad the music couldn’t just speak for itself without having all of the visual effects. Oh well.

The music might be nice, but the video is awful. Lots of white and coloured flashes, pale colors, tumbles, etc. It distracts from the music and the musicians. 😫
