People say this watch is expensive but ask anyone who has bought the watch and they will tell you they are most satisfied with the watch and wouldn’t want to sell it. It is the most stylish and aesthetically pleasing watch out there. It is functionally, none fussy and versatile. I can wear this when I go jogging, to work and casually. It’s just wear and go, nothing to adjust or wind and accurate as hell. It suits a lot of people’s lifestyle. No matter the occasion and your wealth level it just represents a coolness factor which is unique and still understated. I’ve had mine for a year now and very pleased with it. This is the only quartz watch Journe will bring out and the last I believe. Prices are flying through the roof and the demand is so great since about 100 or so made every year. Journe doesn’t want to focus on this anymore since he tackled the problem, killed it and move onto bigger fishes to fry. This watch will be a collectors item and an art piece. I can literally write a book about This piece....enuff said.
I absolutely love this watch but it really got me thinking. What exactly makes this watch worth $15k? In terms of manufacturing, the fantastic finishing of the case and dial may amount to around $1000 given the workmanship and materials required. But I'm sure the movement can be relatively easily manufactured with a few motors, gears and programming on the microchips. Even the apple watch has way more functions and has even more intricate parts like the vibration, heart rate monitor etc. I think the value really lies in its exclusivity - both of the brand and the watch, and its design. dkuaeshfn yes, most of the money is probably for the finishing and the name. But, should not dumb down this quartz movement as well..if it was that easy many other brands would be doing it. Seiko did it but Journe improved on it and comparing a Journe watch to an Apple Watch is just 🤷♂️😅 I think what you would be paying for is the name, the finishing and an entry to owning a Journe piece. Whether it’s worth the market price of $15K that depends on who you ask, for me personally..no. But, there are people paying that amount over retail so 🤷♂️ Thank you 😊 I appreciate it
Maybe technically Seiko and G-Shock can do better but they cannot tap into the style and precious metal Journe can reach. Seiko will never capture the High end luxury market that Journe can because they ship a load of crap as well which means their QA and integrity will never be there. People are paying for the style and the integrity FP Journe has as a watchmaker.

Great video! The 40mm Titanium has a high polished surface and should be more suited to ladies while the 48mm has a brush finish.
