FP Journe is literally the Pagani of the watch collectors world. They make less than a thousand watches a year which is just insane for time piece makers
btw, the 800-850 per year is correct but this is WITHOUT all these elegante watches. The 850 are only the mechanical watches. I believe the elegance alone is 500 to 1000 per year on top of the 850 mechanical FP Journe

This now 6x list. Was lucky to get mine at an AD when no one had heard about it and was sitting in a display case. Couldn’t believe it was not reserved or just a display piece at that time.

@@TGE Agree and sounds like you got yours pretty much close to retail. Once the brand becomes better known, this will explode in value, easily breaking 100k in value. I would never sell it because I know I’d never be able to find one
What would you all value a 40mm without diamonds (either Titalyt or titanium)?
@@baxoutthebox5682 will easily surpass 100k in the next 2 years. They are made in such small quantities and someday it will be discontinued

I would rather pay three times over retail for an FP Journe than three times over for a Rolex ( and I’m a Rolex owner saying that but one must be crazy to spend that much over retail for a brand that makes over a million watches a year! I really love FP Journe, nothing else like them out there and they all have a sporty elegance.

Brushed Titanium is great but sadly it scratches quite easily. The DLC coated pops with a white strap and if I can get one I’ll get that colour combo!

From a FPJ collector, firstly the numbers quoted by journe is for mechanical watches. So he makes about 25-30 of these a year and not included in the 800-900/year. Secondly, about month ago a titalyt 48 was sold for over $90k in Dubai. This is the hottest watch in the ME. Thirdly, the strap has quick release bars so you can easily change it. Unless...
But coming from an RM owner I wouldn’t be surprised that escaped you. Finally there was a 2020 elegante 48 titalyt that sold on watch box for over $60k. So if you can get one in 48 for under €20k don’t think. Just buy it.

The Titalyt cases are going for 30-40k (AUD) more than normal case (60k-70k) on Chrono24 at the moment. Very cash

Well, they are already 3-4 times the retail list. List is 12.5 K Euro , if you can buy one under 40K you're very lucky. I know some sell for 50K. definitely the Tytalite version is VERY sought after

elegante is a lovely piece but in the end of the day it is a quartz watch
Patek 5711 is on different level, the history of Patek + Genta design + 3700 from 70s. Dont get me wrong, I really like F.P Journe, but comeon who will want to pay that amount for quartz. Would compare more to 5167, but still 5167 is on different level.

@@TGE I get what you’re getting at but you simply shouldn’t be spreading wrong info. They produce about 800.000 to 1.000.000 watches a year. So 50 to 62.5 times les than 50 million.
