Half Life 2 is the best fps game ever made. By far. No fps game comes close. I'm playing Wolfenstein New Colossus and i can't wait for it to end. Cause even if it's a 2017 game, a 14 years younger game than Half Life 2 it is boring compared to Half Life 2. I will play Half Life 2 again after i finish Wolfenstein New Colossus. I just played Half Life 2 2 months ago but i miss the atmosphere of Half Life 2 already. No fps game ever did this to me. I constantly miss Half Life 2. What an amazing, awesome, incredible, magnificent game.
Man it's straight up beautiful masterpiece of art. When a game or franchise generates you a deep feeling that no other thing can or could generate, that's when it already took a piece of your heart. Personally, Half-Life did that, I played it since 7 years old and I loved it so much even till today, the story, the world, the ambience and the music, I could and can literally sleep comfortable just to the thought of being in that beautiful world. Eerie, dark, nostalgic, familiar, the gold source and source engines atmosphere that I've been feeling these 9 years over and over. Valve made a masterpiece, Valve made art, pure art, that's what videogames are all about. Half-Life forever. *λ*
@@kazcav Wolfenstein The Old Blood is an amazing game but it's no where near Half Life 2 in my opinion. There are only 2 fps games Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite and even them are not close to Half Life 2. Half Life 2 is alone at the top of fps games. And i don't think it will be dethroned. Most probably Half Life 3 will surpass it. If it can.
@@kazcav Yes i agree. It's hard to put into words. Maybe it's atmosphere, graphics, characters, music, being Gordon Freeman, maybe it's amazing sci-fi story and dystopian world. Something about Half Life 2 makes it the best fps game ever. And for me it's the best game ever, not just the best fps.
@@LunarCrescent Yes i agree. Left For Dead 2 is amazing. They also made Portal 2. Another masterpiece. When they make Half Life 3 it will instantly become a classic, a true masterpiece. I have zero doubts about that. When Valve makes a game they make masterpieces. There is not a single mediocre game they made. Every Valve game is amazing. And Half Life 2 is their best game.
