I got a Big surprise at an antique store, when the owner brought out 4 VINTAGE dolls cases.
He was saving them for me!! (WOW) See what I got and the future potential I may have with this store.
Rare, Pricey dolls and clothes for good prices. My Antique store thrift.

I would reroot the color magic Barbie with new hair that changes color in hot and cold temperature. They sell it at dollyhair

What great finds! The American girl is beautiful! I hope to have one some day. I think you should just cut the rest of the color magic’s hair. I’d say reroot but that is very tedious. I’ve done a couple and it takes time! Love seeing your doll finds. Happy new year!!!🎉

That Casey is very pretty another score! I love that Tammy case and all the Ideal items they are adorable, such nice hair and facial color. That is American Character Mary makeup, she has a special coated face so her cosmetics could easily be washed off and reapplied, Tressy has growing hair😊 you did a wonderful job cleaning them up! Thankyou dear!💟💟💟

I think it would be totally worth it to send her out for a re root such a lovely American girl, her hair is so nice it's like Mattel got careless with some of them and the bangs just won't lay down right no matter what. All great finds! 🥰
I don't know how you feel about negotiating with the dealer but I know here if two dealers are negotiating they get 50% off of what they would sell for. Consider they would have to do hours and hours of research and sell piece by piece in a market that would buy it like that. So the common stuff they would likely sit on for years and that means you should get a bundle price. So don't sell yourself short when valuing to buy. Thats why appraisal and auction prices are so different, auction prices are a third of appraisal prices!
I know, I flipped when I saw the color Magic. I am considering getting her re-rooted. But I am gonna sit on it for a while. Bubbles are always great for outfits. I need to sell at least one. But I don't know if I can. Isn't that terrible. I am so addicted. This guy is nice at the antique store. Maybe he will take my table for the other dolls and if so, I am selling them all. LOL
@@BarbieLove 😆LOL It's okay, I understand! I worship my doll from afar. 98% of them are packed away I have no where to display them! At times I'm like why do I even have them? Well they make me happy is why. Sure I think I should sell them could use the money, then other times I think well I love them and they can pry them from my cold dead hands!

Girl!!! Oh, what a treasure chest of 60's Doll Magic!! Congratulations on such a good find! They were all in good condition and the Color Magic has a good face and it might be worth it to have a practiced re-rooter just do it for you. Probably best to just remove the hair yourself and then send it to a re-rooter. She would be just awesome when completed!
All that Tammy stuff...wow!! I have not seen that Dodi since I was little. Oh, I remember that cute face!! One of my playmates had her!! Oh, and the Tammy case is spectacular!!

Mod Girl that sounds like a viable option for the color magic. Not sure at this point what to do. Dodi does have a sweat face. I think her hair may have been trimmed, not sure though. That case can hold a lot of clothes. I got to fill it up. LOL Thanks and Happy New Year to all of you Mods.😊
What an exciting haul!! Very nice! I think I may have the Color Magic top and skirt, though it's a little faded. I also have the black floral pencil skirt and a matching pair of pants!

I did the same thing used a color magic wig I’m not going to cut off the rest of her hair sounds like a great antique store I hope the Barbie fairy sends another color magic

There actually was a redhead. When they were oxidizing their hair at Mattel. Some got oxidized better than others. I have a bright hair Titian Casey and a burgundy hair and one like. Yours

You should! Let them know you buy Barbies. Lots of Antique stores won't buy them. But if they think they have a buyer they will. Good luck
I'd reroot the magic color barbie. If I wanted to make her authentic with actual color changing hair I'd take the hair from a wig.

Boy would I love to have that Mink. It is one of the hardest things to find. I haven't checked Ebay lately. But sure it is Pricey.

The little blue train case is part of a set of luggage for Barbie; not Mattel made but I think was licensed. I have the larger suitcases that go with it. They also came in white and red. Nice vintage dolls. But you should have shown the Allan I saw in the case!!! ha

Lol, my felons is . I could reroof myself, but very time consuming. Or I could pay someone to do it. And I may not like their work . Not to mention I don’t know how much it would cost. I love the orange wig but I may try her on a different one.

Not always, but they usually never call.
Your dolls are. Beautiful clorax and water will take stain out but you can leave in very long it also makes clothes brighter

Oh I am in Heaven!!!!! As much as I loved the Barbie treayures, I was really excited about Tammy and Tressy. What kind of paint did you use for Tressy's lips? I have a Mary Make Up and Tressy that could use touch ups. Loved this!!!
I have a little confusion on the 2 dolls Deb. What is the difference between Mary and Tressy? I ordered it online from a company called Katsilk. They are supposed to have correct color combinations for all vintage Barbie dolls. Last time I checked the site was down. There was no name to the color just a number.
