🌼 Thank you for showing not just all the beauty and cool stuff, but also the reality of life - the mundane, the normality of everyday life whether in sticks and bricks, a van, a little trailer or a massive Class A or anything on between. Love to Joey and you! 💙✝️🙌🏼
Nice vid. I've wondered abt mail,bc I'm getting ready for vanlife. Excited to see Arizona! You should write Bob from cheaprvliving, and have him interview you!
I do enjoy your videos so much! Gets me all excited for when I am able to begin my journey into van life world. Thanks for all info you give. Have great travels!😀🚙
Las Cruces has one of the most beautiful skylines of any non-big city I have ever seen! That was one of the first things I noticed on my after dark walks. Love it here. ❤️
We find that the bagged salad kits from grocery stores work well for us. They are around $2 to $4, and store pretty well for a few days. Keep those videos coming! 👍🏼
Just want to say I love you, Joey and your channel! 🤗 Thank you for sharing your adventures and life. I'm still catching up with your past videos😁 I binged watched them!
I love watching how Joey looks out the window while traveling ☺️ it's so cool to take these trips with you. I never knew New Mexico ever got that cold! God Bless and safe travels 💗
I've driven through Arizona and New Mexico on my way to Texas. I fell in love with New Mexico and someday would love to go back. Awesome views at your intro!
General delivery is such a great tool now for Van lifers that has always existed but has become more popular. Stay warm, stay safe and lots of love to little Joey ❤️🐶🥰
Loving watching your Vlog. Chantelle, you are my number 1 choice for vids. I am a Solo Van Dwelling Female currently renting an apt in Alamogordo. Broke my legs last Oct. 11 and learned quickly how a bricks/mortar house is needed in emergency. But I am also lucky I can afford to do this. I wish I could have met you when you went thru town. Blessings to you.
Hello from New Jersey...Love watching your videos and all your adventures. That's what I wanna do..but have to wait a few years.. Safe travels and stay safe. 💜
FYI: Passport check=Checkpoint. I love your channel. It's refreshing how down to earth you are. I look forward to your videos because you are someone that the rest of us can relate to. Also, I really enjoy how you explain things, ie, how you get your mail, etc. I wish you tons of success with your channel. Yes, I'm a subscriber for sure.
That sure was some beautiful mountains you and and Joey left behind. I did enjoy your video, sometimes just having a "normal" day can be a good one. Stay safe and Blessings
So proud of you for doing you. You are inspiring more folks than you know and that is just so commendable 🙌🏻✊🏻👍🏻. About those crazy expensive salads, for 1/2 that price, most grocery stores & Wal-Marts, etc...sell various pre-washed, pre-cut organic leafy greens. Since I’m not vegan I might add a pkt of tuna or I’d buy a single hard boiled egg to cut in - whatever vegan alternatives you prefer. Endless options. Some times I don’t have a bowl so I dump everything into the salad bag & eat out of that ( I always travel with utensils & frequently a tiny bottle of oil&vinegar).
Yess its so beautiful over here. I lived in california and my mom moved me over here(didnt wanna move from my cali life) and she went back to cali ans i stayed cause i love las cruces so much
I live in Las Cruces and just happened upon your video today. I’m really glad you popped in. Gosh with such a short visit you missed so much that makes this city an awesome place to live, but it’s cool that you went to our best independent pet store. Thanks for stopping by. Glad you made it to Arizona! Your pup is so sweet! Safe travels!
It gets cold here in Mesa AZ I am full time now but my van is not fully built yet... Hope to have my heater in next week... I'm plugged in electric at a friend's but supposed to be boondocking this week. Anything under 45 is too cold for me I have been here for 10 years and adapted to the summer. Have fun and thanks for sharing your journey
Hi, Shantel Welcome to Arizona. Make sure you look around in AZ we have so much to see here. Go see Lake Havasu City, Payson, Heber-Overgaard, and the Valley of the Sun including Fountain Hills, and the lakes here like Sahuaro Lake, Lake Pleasant. Go south to Bisbee, and there is a big lake too cannot remember the name. Thanks for yourvideo.
Be careful with baby Joey while you’re in Arizona. Between snakes and scorpions they can really come out by surprise so I’d try and supervise potty walks and stuff. Enjoy the state it’s beautiful there!
A few places to check out for some good camping in AZ: Dragoon, Reddington Road in Tucson, BLM land along i10 between Tucson/Phx is very nice. Mt Lemmon gets cold and it went through some fires recently but is still worth checking out. Flagstaff has a LOT, just make sure you check the weather first so you don't get stuck if it snows. Enjoy Arizona!
Welcome to AZ! If your ever in the phoenix area check out dobbins lookout which is a scenic view spot at 33.3446643, -112.0587951. Awesome views of the city and plenty of hiking trails nearby! -Gypsie
I’m sure it’s fun where you are at and what you see as sites unknown. Im seeing these sites for the first time as well. Joey loves the sites! 😀 Good to hear your mail can follow you because I did wonder. 🧐🧐 stay safe and enjoy AZ sites!
I have been in Arizona and the temps especially at night shock me with the cold. I sleep in a sleeping bag and only deal with the temps when I get up and get ready for the day by converting my RAV4 from mobile bedroom at night and into a normal car delivering passengers for Lyft and Ride Local with adding deliveries in the afternoon.
I have been following you consistently for the last month. I'm impressed with all the places you find to stay. I lived in Tucson for many years and have traveled across the country many times for visits back east. Some of the areas you have visited are familiar but only in passing. I've never had the time to linger. I have, however, slept at that same rest stop when you entered Arizona !! Lol! I saw some suggestions for areas in Tucson and the choices are many. Definitely Reddington Road. There's some beautiful spots to camp up there and you will be passing some great grocery stores on the way. Also, Gates Pass is a must!! I used to live and work very close. It's beautiful!! Wow, I miss Tucson and my many wonderful friends that are there. Enjoy the desert 🌵, remember it gets cold at night, no clouds to keep the heat near the earth, and it's dry!! Hydrate even when you don't feel dehydrated! PS (not to be a downer but please stay safe, highest rate of Covid per capital in the world right now) Looking forward to the videos!!! ❤️❤️
Now you've made it to Arizona you can breath easy again. Hope your campsite turns out to be great, I love the way little Joey look's so relaxed. All the best, Hugh.
My last long roadtrip 5 days... I went to whatever local grocery store and got a bag of spring mix had lunch and dinner.. Way cheaper than getting salad at a restaurant and I'm still supporting local businesses.. when I'm home I always ask for a extra togo salad dressing and other condiments when getting take out.. then I save those up for roadtripping...
Las Cruces is a highly underated City! Also try Flagstaff AZ! Next time just wander over to the coffee dude cup in hand no doubt he'll fill it you come off as a very lovely person #YOLO #ShareTheWild
Hahaha, that "poisonous snakes and insects" sign. I saw that same sign at a rest stop in Arizona a few years ago. I became unreasonably upset at the sign, because the correct word is "venomous." I don't easily anger, but that got me, hahaha. I love the desert southwest. Thanks for sharing your adventures, even when they're errands.
🙌😊 it's better in Arizona during the "winter" lol. I arrived in Texas many many moons ago in 1979! I was homesick for a couple of years. But for the most part I'm happy where I live. However I have recently thought about moving to NM. Safe travels. God bless you. Thank you for mail info. 👍🌟
If you're going to Sedona check out Crystal Magic! It is one of my favorite stores for crystal shopping. In Glendale you can check out Loving Hut for yummy vegan food. Tucson has a great metaphysical shop called the Dry River Witches Shoppe. Great for herbs and a fair amount of oracle/tarot decks. For a great view check out Sunset Point rest stop on the I17 near Black Canyon City and Bumblebee. Bathrooms are clean and I believe there is overnight parking. Its a busy spot so bring earplugs if you stay. As with everything these days check to see what kind of requirements they have for Covid. Our cases are high so be safe :) I'm a born and raised AZ girl so if you have some q's I'm happy to answer. Much love! Blessed be!
I would love to do what you’re doing, traveling and seeing things. I’d need a bigger vehicle as I have an 80 lbs basset hound and five cats. A good size trailer perhaps for me
Stay safe on the road and be careful. Joey is just so adorable 🙂 you can tell he’s enjoying your adventures. Again be careful this nasty virus seems to be spreading significantly.
Love your videos! Joey is so gosh, darn cute! I think it's great you like yourself enough you can easily spend time alone. Will you go back to Oregon in the Spring? It gets pretty darn hot in Az in May.
I love the mobile lifestyle. My work shutdown for 2 weeks and I drove from Ohio to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. Would like to go see the white sands national park too! I think its close to las cruces!
I love Tucson Arizona ! I lived in a little town call Arivaca ,40 minutes with a very nice coffee shop Gladdens, I think. Beautiful mountains, a campground called la siesta not expensive at all
Hi, I'm from Las Cruces. I'm still discovering new places here, where did you get that salad? I love that you found that campground here, its absolutely beautiful. I'm excited for you.
Thank you for being a regular person in a regular vehicle!
🌼 Thank you for showing not just all the beauty and cool stuff, but also the reality of life - the mundane, the normality of everyday life whether in sticks and bricks, a van, a little trailer or a massive Class A or anything on between. Love to Joey and you! 💙✝️🙌🏼

Now that you have a Jackery 1000, could you use a little electric blanket?
"He made coffee really fast" that made me laugh. I feel that envy! Haha
Stephen Prescott AZ. So genius having a squeegee for your front window.
I'm copying that one!
I do enjoy your videos so much! Gets me all excited for when I am able to begin my journey into van life world. Thanks for all info you give. Have great travels!😀🚙
Oh my gosh Joey is so cute.. I am glad you made it to Arizona. You are awesome!

That shot in your sideview was great. Nice spot
❤✌
You make the most interesting video's, thank you!

Nice editing. I love the view in the side mirror of your car. Well done.
Squeegee is something I need for the inside of the large windshield on my Transit Connect. Thanks for the tip!
I've driven through Arizona and New Mexico on my way to Texas. I fell in love with New Mexico and someday would love to go back. Awesome views at your intro!

Last time I was in Las Cruces area, it was snowing sideways at 60 MPH, and my Mr. Buddy Heater .... FROZE.
Love the aromatics on the dash! Nice vids! Thanks for sharing
Being in the desert for the Winter looks like something in my near Future. I have heard and you confirmed NM is cold. 🚙💕🐶💕👩🦰💕
You have inspired me to make my move. I bought a Crysler Pacifica Saturday. Let the conversion begin. 😎
Yayyy

Good morning! Thank you for watching. ❤❤❤
Im from the tip of texas.and you passed what we call an immigration check point. We pass one everytime we go to Austin. Stay safe girl
Find Bob Wells and get him to do a tour of your van on his channel. It'd be so cool for your channels to cross.
He'd love you, he doesn't get to speak with many younger nomads. Good idea.
I hope you find warmer temperatures in Arizona! It's in the 40's where I live at in Texas.
I like that card holder you got, looks really useful.
That sure was some beautiful mountains you and and Joey left behind. I did enjoy your video, sometimes just having a "normal" day can be a good one. Stay safe and Blessings
I love that you show the cost of everything that you purchase yes I did watch the other video 😅 basic cost
Just like living in a sticks and bricks. Still have chores to do. Only you have a better view. Say hi to Joey

White Sands is closer to Alamogordo (east of Cruces) than Las Cruces but either is a nice drive. I love Cruces.
Thank you for that mail trick, I never knew that. I am a travel nurse and I have always struggles with getting mail.
How good that you are in Arizona, I live in Arizona, I had a great time.
Much love to you both❤️ Drive safe 👍😉
