Nathan gale served in the military and was discharged as he was diagnosed with mental illness. He also attempted to rush the stage at an earlier damageplan concert in april. Most people believe his reason for killing dimebag Darrell was he truly believed Darrell was responsible for Pantera breaking up. Who knows how true that is though

I don’t think it’s desecrated harmin people have been throwing items over the fence. My opinion. But it’s to bad someone couldn’t go in there and organize it a bit. But I am sure if yo7 or I got over the fence and cleaned it up ect we would get the police on our tail.

My younger brother was a huge Pantera fan. I grew up in Chicago, and several years back when my brother was a teenager, we found out Pantera was doing a meet and greet before a show. I took my brother to the meet and greet and Dimebag was super cool and kind to the fans. Phil Anselmo, on the other hand, was a huge prick, openly complaining about what a waste of time it was. My younger brother left that show so disappointed and hurt by Phil's statements. He later got a Dimebag tattoo and bought a Dimebag guitar. My brother was later hit by a car and killed when he was 19, and every time I see a story about Pantera I cringe at the memory of my brother's disappointment. Phil is an asshole. Dimebag seemed like a great guy. RIP.

I saw “Pantera” back in 1997 or ‘98, I’d have to read my old ticket stub, it’s been a long time. They opened for the original “Black Sabbath” in the Skydome( Rogers Center) in Toronto Canada. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. Vinnie’s double- bass drums were going wild and Dimebag’s guitars were rippin’ it up. They was an awesome concert, one of the top 3 of my life. The “original Black Sabbath” and “Pantera” at their best. Dimebag and Vinnie were so great at what they did. Even Eddie Van Halen put his black & yellow Charvel guitar(pictured on the cover of VH- II, 1979) on Dimebags coffin before it was lowered into the ground. He was a huge fan of EVH and Eddie was a huge influence on Darryl. These two brothers were like Eddie and Alex Van Halen, but in the mMetal scene. Very accomplished musicians. RIP, Darryl, Vinnie, and my hero, Eddie Van Halen.

I'll never forget the day I heard he was murdered. I was in shock , being a metalhead , this kind of thing never happened in our community. People in the metal community are some of the coolest people to be around , I've been to hundreds of concerts and there was never even violence at any shows. Can't believe it's been 18 years already. Such a needless tragedy and for what?! It's also sickening that people would desecrate a grave site , there's too many sicko's in this country now!

I was fortunate enough to meet Pantera when they were starting out in metal once they ditched the glam stuff and Dime and Vinny were great guys, they were playing a little crap club in NJ called Studio 1 passing out Cowboys from hell demos. Had it until Hurricane Sandy took away everything from us. Was also fortunate enough to see them many times afterwards. Also saw Hell Yeah and although I think Vinny Paul was a great drummer and love Chad Grey with Mudvayne I wasn’t a fan of Hell Yeahs music tbh. Fun fact my best friend aka my brother from another mother opened for Pantera at that little crap club in Newark NJ it then changed to a bar called Tequila Joes and is now some freaking cult church. RIP Dime and Vinny 🙏🏻 also it’s not a Pantera “reunion” as it can never be without Dime and Vinny it’s going to be a tribute band and it will have the two remaining members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown with Zakk Wylde of Black Label society and Charlie Benante of Anthrax. It will NEVER be Pantera but I think it will be a beautiful tribute to two talents gone way too soon. RIP to two extremely talented musicians 🤟🏻If I’m given the opportunity to see a show with the tribute band I’ll definitely have some Crown Royal in honor of them. I’m not a drinker but I will have a shot or two in their honor.

I can't believe the mess dimes stone is, they need to clean it up... I wonder when they put up that fence... obviously cause of the fans and other ppl who vandalise it

It's a shame that people can't respect celebrity graves and this is why a lot of remaining family members of deceased celebrities choose to have their loved ones cremated. Yes rockstar's don't exactly live a clean and sober life but show some respect in death by not desecrating a grave. For those who think this is paying tribute, in some way shape or form, I hope karma comes after you.
