I'm planning on installing the tridos TDC and snipetor r hop along with one of these chambers. I've heard the AA chamber has a better seal, however the stock ssg10 chamber has a bigger hop window(?) Anyway what is your take on both of these chambers? Thanks
The SSG is a very standard chamber with a slightly better hop arm. It’s two cast parts bolted together and will never have the tolerances that a (high quality, not Aliexpress) machined billet unit will have. As for the the utterly stupid ring that “improves” the air seal 🤦♂️. There are a few great alternatives but the AA one is the best balance of price and quality. The air seal on mine is literally insane. The TDC is a must in my opinion too. This is only my opinion though. People love to argue about these things, however, I’m always really impressed with mine and it’s one of my favourite RIF’s only bettered by my upgraded SRS.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Thanks alot for the info, I might buy the AA chamber then, not only due to its' better airseal but also because it can fit GBB barrels. Since there are no 370mm VSR barrels which is what I need for a good cylinder/barrel ratio for the .48 BB's I'm using (380-390mm would be better but, eh.) , that might come in handy. Don't want to mod the barrel, and having a one piece hop up chamber does sound better.

Im sorry but I think you're wrong. Me and my buddy used to shoot one inch groups or better at 20 meters with STOCK utg l96's and sub par bbs at best back in the day. I've seen so much gameplay of this rifle and its never been that bad. IDK what bbs your using or if your barrel was bad or you're just crapping on Novi but whatever the case may be, it's definitely not been what I've witnessed.
I play a lot of airsoft, and I build a lot of guns and Novritsch snipers are decent out of the box guns for people who can’t or don’t want to upgrade. It’s that simple. People who think these sniper rifles are some sort of holy grail, have never used a really good one. I only did the shooting tests because people wanted to see them, but it only shows 1% of the story. It can sometimes be difficult to get good groupings at 20m with a good sniper as the hop rubbers are more efficient and the the Magnus effect causes an upward inflection over short distances that is hard to judge. This can make it hard to set a scope for a short distance, yet as the BB stabilises you get a good predictable distance accuracy. At 20 meters I have an upgraded TM that has a worse grouping than a £120 Cyma. The TM is r-hoped with a EDGI barrel and can hit people at 65 to 70m on a still day. The Cyma can beardy break 30m because the hop rubber is junk, but that means it can consistently lob a BB over a short distance with less backspin and get a better grouping. I have a Well L96 here that I’m working on, very similar to the UTG, and they are junk out the box with no range but can lob BB’s in the same way the Cyma does. That’s why I don’t really do the grouping test anymore and i probably got a better grouping as I hadn’t applied any hop at the time. I see so many SSG’s being used in the field and I regularly let people try mine, every single person said they were mostly happy with theirs until they tried mine. There is nothing wrong with Novs products, I own a few, and at the end of the day, an SSG is better than an average Well gun or out the box VSR, but be realistic, they are still built to a budget. The cylinder and piston are okay as long as they are clean, the trigger box is great, the hop and barrel are mediocre at best and the 2 piece receiver is cheap. If people don’t agree with me that’s fine with me, as I know what mine can do now and I’ve got 5 upgraded sniper rifles to benchmark against each other, as opposed to watching edited RUclips gameplay or read reviews.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT that's my point. Those utgs were junk. Something was wrong with that gun you were using. Ive been playing airsoft for 22 years so I'm not just blowing smoke.

Could you link me to the one piece upper receiver you have bought?
M M where I got it is out of stock, but this is the exact one. Same price too www.airsoftworld.net/action-army-vsr-one-piece-upper-receiver.html
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Thanks for the info. So the top rail is still the old one from the SSG10? Cause the screws of my rail seem to be screwed. I can't really tighten them properly
M M yeah the original rail will fit right on using the same screws. One of the threads on my SSG10 receiver stripped when I took the bolt out for the first time lol. I have since replaced the top rail with a maple leaf one and they are really good too.
I wish there was a one piece that includes the top rails...
M M yeah I’ve not seem one, I’d like to try a one piece Bulltrig barrel and receiver.
We have the same coffee machine! (edited typos) 👍
J Dury it’s awesome. I’ve had one at work for years so my gf bought me one for my birthday to keep at home. 😄
thicc scope dude
Piss poor for 20m?
Sorry mate, but you have totally missed the point, don’t worry about it, buy an SSG and go for it.
Damn GREAT VIDEO again.. i'm getting one of them guns but i want to send it to you to do what you done to yours... So were about you or you...oh plus i'll send you $500 to hook it up
Anthony Cobb thanks dude but for how much it would cost you could get a fully upgraded SRS. Now they are good snipers.
Didn't want to offend you before, I was just joking.
Bill Bones no offence taken 👍 my gf loved that bit but I said I’m not taking editing it out lol
