- Budgeting has always been stressful for me - merely anything that makes me think about my debt can be overwhelming. If you're stressed and overwhelmed by your money, I highly recommend you try out the 50/30/20 rule to personal finance - in this video I break down how I use the 50/30/20 rule to budget like a financial minimalist.

Welcome aboard! Happy to have you here!
Good video, Drew. I speak as a retired teacher, but I really wish this type of skill was taught in school, even as early as elementary school. If it's taught early, it can hopefully become second nature and then built on.
Then again, I'm old-fashioned. :)
Me too! I had a personal finance course in high school that really did not teach much at all, spent way too much in the technicalities of a spreadsheet and not enough of the psychology around money.
How do you manage your budget? Do you do everything manually or do you use an app? Do you subscribe to a particular method?
