Oh snap!! Man this is so cool. That guitar.... EPIC!! I think that's an older model, too. Bent head-stock, versus the newer style they're putting on them now. Oh - and I just noticed... that's an (actual) ESP too. Not the LTD I've been looking at. Man what a great song.... and Dokken is still one of my all-time faves. And what can we say about Mr Scary - George Lynch. For me.. it's Edward. And no one is even on the same Planet. But then with everyone else... I have Warren DeMartini and Lynch right up there at the top of my everyone else list. Lynch came up with some of the most powerful stuff!! I was first introduced to these guys back in the day, by a neighbor buddy, with the Tooth & Nail cassette tape! Fell in love immediately. Brother... you smoked it!! Request: In My Dreams!!
Thank you for the kind words! That’s actually a guitar I assembled with an ‘85 ESP neck & a newer LTD body. I posted a cover of In My Dreams, but it’s just the rhythm guitar part. That solo is too much for me lol!
Thanks! It was a holy grail '85 ESP neck I acquired awhile back & paired with an LTD body & German Floyd. I sadly sold that guitar but I now have an actual ESP M-1 tiger to replace it
looks like a Kramer Baretta neck and black headstock.....I give you a 8 on the song....strong 8 on the rhythm but the solo was nice but NOT accurate,.....cool tho
@@johnanderson2112 yes indeed....I had one of the first Baretta's with the same exact neck...yeah they were a parts company when they started ....ESP's are so cool
Well played ! Love this stuff
@@longtime2live4 Thank you very much! I was so into Dokken back in the day
Yes ,, defiantly turned up these tunes . So much great music from that time I love um all !
Nice! This is the song that got me into metal.
Alone again still to this day is a regular cover on our setlist. Breaking the Chains was the first Dokken I ever heard I think
@@johnanderson2112 Breaking The Chains got me into Dokken as well

Thanks! It was a holy grail '85 ESP neck I acquired awhile back & paired with an LTD body & German Floyd. I sadly sold that guitar but I now have an actual ESP M-1 tiger to replace it
@@johnanderson2112 That's great! ESP M-1 is also an amazing guitar! I have one ltd GL guitar too and I'm thinking about upgrading it.
@@johnanderson2112 By the way, great playing! Looking forward to more covers!

I'm here for the solo
Thank you! I hope I do it justice!
@@johnanderson2112 not bad
Very close. You can tell that you were waiting to play the notes instead of feeling it.

Back in ‘85 the ESP company made necks for Kramers as well as ESP. This is one of those necks. Super expensive!
