Absolutely agree. People think they "need" the latest and greatest meanwhile they don't even know how to use the first unit LOL. For me, the Axe XL+ is more than enough. Hell, even the Axe II was enough for me. I'm not a huge effects guy; just comp, boost, phaser, flanger, rotary, delay, reverb, etc.
