Gotta love the creative thought that went into creating such a well designed travel van. From incorporating the concern for honey bees into the colour, cabinet handles, wildflower bombs, to the compact and highly functional cooking area, and decent sized bed that is actually comfortable. Brilliant!

Tiny House Giant Journey this campervan s really cute. Is it quite common out there in the UK for tourists to rent vans? I'm really interested in this, plus it is a way to help grow plants and save bees so it's a hit with me!
Class B (Vans) and similar size caravans (campers/travel trailers) are the most common in most European countries because of the generally smaller roads and more strict max weight restrictions. Most Europeans are also less into glamping and more into camping, so you generally won't see as much high end appliances like microwaves or AC units. So generally no need for a generator, solar and battery are more practical with their usual setups. Storage is also more prioritized with usually a rear section set aside for storage... There's also differences in the rules and laws governing recreational vehicles in Europe. So there are things that they have that aren't legal to have in the states and vice versa but you may only notice when directly comparing them side by side...
Lucky you, I would like to go back to the UK but health issues are keeping me stuck here. I really enjoy living through other peoples experiences. Thanx for sharing your adventure.

Spent not a penny/pence on accommodations! That reason alone should tempt more than a few people to try van camping. Apart from people with tiny bladders, looks like a cozy getaway. I do love how the bed is a REAL bed...looks so cozy and inviting.

Here in UK you don't need to worry about the toilet and shower every campsite has complete facilities and hot shower, or you can go to any supermarket, garage, motorway, gym, public swimming pool you find toilets and hot shower

I have seen a couple of vans with foot-operated water pumps for the sink and it seems real trick. No baked beans. Nothing about UK breakfast weirds me out than baked beans for breakfast. Very nice interior design. I have to think you agree with the time you’ve spent traveling in it. I hope there is a link in here somewhere.

I lived in England for two years. That van is HUGE for roads in the U.K., any issues? The couple you rented from are adorable, as are you and yours! Nothing better than southern England in the spring, bring an umbrella! Great video!
I can tell you that driving that van in the UK did come with its challenges... Many narrow (and single track) roads, many dirt/gravel roads, winter conditions, crazy wind.... But slow and steady wins the race. And totally worth it! Cheers!
I figured that one could fit a two lane English road into any one lane American. People driving at insane speeds for how narrow they are. Way different places!
The place is also FULL of HUGE, obscene ridiculously over-sized 4x4 and SUVs. These egomobiles make driving here even worse. Often they are used ONLY for the school run and shopping. Ridiculous. Don't bother with trains. Full of privateering pirates and brainwashed arsewipe staff who don't care about anything but their paycheques. That's why they're so expensive. Believe me I worked there and the last years were ghastly. Glad I'm retired.
