Love mine, just got it a few weeks ago. I like it a lot better than I thought I would. The screen is so beautiful, it looks good with the thinner bezels, bigger size, and OLED. New kick stand is amazing. White joys cons look fresh. Feels like a premium product. Last of all, Nintendo games are so fun to play!
Good review! I do find Nintendo Switch aesthetically pleasing. I own PS5 and oh boy how many times I thought about selling it while it is hot. The problem is game industry.. games look stunning, huge effort towards graphics and blah blah but at the end of the day it is not only about graphics but about gameplay and content and I feel that AAA games are more and more casual and boring. I am afraid that console gaming will be mostly interactive movie games in the future you know. As ex nintendo switch user I miss this console a lot. I just admire nintendo for being able to create games that are catchy without super grapchical side.
Quality of gameplay definitely looks like increasingly less of a priority for the game industry, I agree. And to be honest I think that’s also true for a lot of Nintendo games - so many of them keep recycling the same formula almost exactly, except for the updated visuals. Thankfully there’s a lot else to like about the Switch OLED, though, at least imo.
I bought my modded oled for $750 I think it was worth it becuase i longer gotta worry about buying games. Early downloads in the pirating community. Excited for Zelda BOTW 2
I personally think the only reason to buy a PS5 (for example) is for the exclusive titles, because otherwise - even though it's a cheaper option if you can grab one at MSRP - it leaves a lot of performance on the table compared to a gaming PC. I like that the Switch OLED doesn't have that issue - Nintendo games aren't compatible with windows, and don't need a beefy system to play at their highest levels or detail or framerates.
The max framerate of the switch OLED and the switch (without the OLED display) is 60 fps at both 720p (handheld) and 1080p (docked). Having said that, max FPS varies depending on the game you're playing - so, for example, Zelda: Breath of the Wild only runs at a max of 30fps (at 1080p) in docked mode.

Bro this guys editing is amazing he deserves more subs than 1k keep up the work you just got another sub
Thanks man, appreciate it 🙏
this is a good video but it's more of a "should you buy a switch" than a "is the oled worth the upgrade?"
I got mine like 2 months ago, didn't really play it but I got Zelda the breath of the wild, cannot stop lol, glad I bought
Great review nice to see a fellow Uk creator in Gaming reviews 👍👍
I had my Nintendo switch original for 6 years and the 512 gigabyte micro sd card fills up really quick for lots of games

Really? Over a steam deck? Don't hear many PC guys say that.
Switch = 30 fps
