I’m a SAHM and have had to triple feed all of my babies. I had to EP for 2 months with my last journey and I had SO much trouble with pumps and response! I wish they have had this out then… I’m buying it for this next journey! I’d rather be over prepared knowing how much I do now than under prepared with an Arsenal of knowledge.

Has anyone used this with an external battery pack? I’m torn between this pump and the S1. I just like the functions of this one but now looking for a strong battery before making my mind up.
I’m wondering if this will be worth buying for me. The s2 felt too gentle for me and I never got emptied, any recommendations?

I have been using this for two weeks and It is not emptying my breast completely or not all. I pumped at hospital with thief pump and I got 2 oz with this no luck!!
I got mine through 1 natural way. Bun is still in the oven so I haven't used it yet, but it was fully covered by tricare.

Ughh if only they had this available this time last year before I had my 3rd in July. I don't pump anymore but I almost want to get it for decoration lol. I would've LOVED this pump bc of the dual controls and ability to use medela parts maybe... Is classic spectra tubing compatible? I hate when new pumps make new parts obligatory. Unless the tubing works with medela parts...
The spectra tubing is really compatible with a lot of pumps. The Medela pumps and parts are the ones that aren’t compatible with other pumps :(
What website did you use to order from Korea? I am in the Philippines with my pregnant wife and I noticed they offer it cheaper than the USA. Not sure if it is legit or a fake so I'd like to order it directly from Korea.

Would you recommend this one for someone with vasospasms? I had the S2 previously and my IBLC had me get rid of it because she felt it contributed to my vasospasms.
Hmmm.. I haven’t heard that recommendation before. I wonder why? I’m curious now! Did you find a different pump that worked better for you?
@@NewLittleLife I used the Medela Symphony (rented) and the Sonata at work. They were ok but I felt like they didn’t empty me fully.
Some IBCLCs I feel like really prefer Medela pumps, I’m not sure why.
I also have Vasospasms/Raynaud’s syndrome actually and haven’t noticed problems when pumping with spectra products, that’s just my experience though. As long as my flange size is correct (super important for me and the vasospasm!) the spectra pumps work great!
@@NewLittleLife she definitely prefers the Medela; I’m willing to give Spectra another shot since I have pumping pals and those seemed to help.
If you do, I’d be curious to know how it works for you! I’m always up for learning something new and hearing your experience.
Where did you buy the synergy gold and compact one? I want one but I’m in the US and they’re not available.
It’s a bit tough right now in the US, I bought them from EBay Korea, shipped to Belgium where I am currently. The synergy gold at least should be availabe again soon I think in the states!

Would the 2 motors be beneficial for breastfeeding twins? I plan on pumping quite a bit when I return to work and do have the private desk area mentioned in the video-- trying to make the best decision before the twins get here! Thank you. Yes! A perfect reason to two dual motors. Also look into the unimom opera.

I am getting this delivered tomorrow I’m so excited! I’ve tried the Pisa, spectra s2 and motif and I’m hoping I’ll love this one! I see the tubing is different so where do you buy that? I’m guessing it’s super expensive also. How often should you change tubing anyways?
Do you think this pump is better than the ones I listed I’ve used? I’m 6wpp and only getting 1-11/2 oz a session :(
The tubing is just the generic tubing most pumps are coming with these days. They have little adapters on the end to fit this pump but just pull those off and reuse them! Change tubing if you notice any cracking or are losing suction. Usually it’s not very often since it doesn’t come in contact with milk.
I have the spectra gold and I really like it (but its my first and only dual electric pump, so I have nothing to compare it to) , I also have the willow for more portability. Allison, how does this compare to a hospital grade rental pump (like a medela symphony)? Is it as effective at emptying the breast? I am an exclusive pumper that is trying to increase my supply

Can you have the massage mode on just one side, or does it automatically do both sides.
Good question! The only thing you can customise on each side is the suction level. So cycle speed and mode will be the same on both sides.

@konekovicmel406 you cannot adjust suction on each side individually with the S1. Only the syngery gold

hello...thank you for your videos. There are so many choices out there and its so hard to decide which one to get for my second baby. Is this a good pump to use as a main pump? is this considered a medical grade pump? I'm so confused still
This would be a great primary pump if you’ll be near an outlet while pumping. It’s a great pump!
Does it have vibration like s1/s2?

Does anyone know if other spectra parts from s1 or s2 are compatible with this synergy gold model. I just ordered it and got it free under tricare select and I was not sure what to expect when I need more replacement parts. Baby due in June!
Yes they’re all compatible :) there’s a small tub adapter that can be moved to new tubing very easily, everything else are all the same parts!
