Yes, you can certainly use other fruits! Though if I recall correctly, some fruits interfere with the gelatin setting (like pineapple and kiwi), so double check before you make the recipe ^^

i think to clean it if you were zesting it’s. however i know if you roll around a fruit it makes it juicy so maybe she was trying that?
