personally, do you think the simplicity of the 2x everything from the venture is much better than swapping between 5x, 3x, 1.5x with the chase trifecta? or would I get more value with the trifecta? It's been so hard for me to decide between chase and capital one
Really depends on how you approach it. If you just want to set it and forget it, then Capital one is the best to go with. But i personally prefer the trifecta from chase because i dont mind having to think about which card to use before i purcahse something and also the hyatt partnership chase ahs makes chase points more valuable to me

I agree with you generally but there’s no way that this card actually is going to stay as good as it is. It will be nerfed for sure. I anticipate in a few years the AF will go up, the lounge benefits will decrease (guests mostly), the AF for AU cards will go up, at the very least
