Myths is a fascinating scent. I've never personally found anything else quite like it.
For me it’s really resemble the smell of Lily flower. Deep dark creamy spicy animalic and a touch of green.

Hi Kate. This video has really helped me manoeuvre through Amourage and add 3 more to my collection. I've used my budget already but you've got me intrigued for Fate and Memoir and Myths. I loved your association of Memoir and rain; I live in London and yes, we get lots of rain ☔️. I bought Guerlain's Apres L'ondee last week and it captures melancholy and optimism in a bottle.

Great selections! It’s autumn here in New Zealand and I’m reaching for my deep Amouages more. Myths is a love (can’t believe it’s been discontinued) and I wear it a lot late autumn and all spring. To me it smells like hope! Memoir, Epic, Fate and Portrayal get worn more now too. I prefer Lyric in the cooler months as I find it gets a bit hairspray like in heat and the spices are more obvious. Journey I wear all year. But now I will also start bringing in Interlude and Imitation as well as some of the Opus Collection (IV and VI)….Opus XII is all year.
Amouage is my favourite house and I have quite a few - slowly acquired.
I have decants of a few I’d love to get (Sunshine and Overture)….I prefer the older scents thiygh I have a few post Chong-era releases.

Since i got my sample of Sunshine Woman I definitely want to try more samples from Amouage! I think although Sunshine is nothing ground Breaking its just so dreamy on my skin and I get warm whiffs throughout the day.
I don't like anything too spicy
And Im not a big fan of rose.
I think Osmanthus pear and apricot are nice. Also I would like to find a soft cinnamon based scent. Any ideas?

Hi Patricia! Soft cinnamon is a challenge, as it's not a very smooth note 🙂 I would recommend to try Diptyque L'Eau EDT, it's their first fragrance, I really like cinnamon in it! I just don't know if it will be soft/spicy for you. Spicebomb for Men by Victor&Rolf is also a good one. And Amouage Crimson Rocks is very cinnamon forward. You can start there and see 🙂

@@katekhara haha yes it would be... but I'm thinking to buy 2 bc I haven't see them available here.. just to clarify I also collect fragances and I enjoy to explore some other smells, that's why I'm looking for that brand hahaha, so.. do you still recomend those?
(Some examples that I like would be.. mancera instant crush, jpg la belle, chanel allure sensuelle, decadence marc jacobs, alien and aura from mugler, vainilla 28 by kayali, love dbs by kilian, I'm sorry for the Long list.. hahah but I'm really interested on this brand and I would appreciate some advise 🫠🤣
@@marugarcia1678 with the list you provided I would say Journey would be the safest blind buy (from this video). Other fragrances from here are pretty different from what you seem to like.. Although, if love doesn't happen, maybe you could sell them to someone else? It happens to me sometimes that I resell what I buy because I just don't love/use it. Memoir is really good though, but it's pretty melancholic compared to the ones you listed, so it's up to you 🙂
