Totally agree about Starlight, the cardamom in this is spectacular, as well as the airy ambery base! My second favourite cardamom heavy fragrance is Remember me by Jovoy, this is truly beautiful and so comforting!

Yes I was surprised to see Billie Eilish! It's a little bit too sweet for me too.. but I loved your reaction to it and the memories it gave you 🥰🫶🏻 Ooh I love Soleil Neige 🤍 Oh gosh when I reviewed Atelier des Ors, and when I got to Rouge Saray I ended up chewing on the tester strip (just jokingly of course hahaha) I did find it nice but wow it was a cinnamon bomb to me.. at least the cinnamon stood out above everything else. Still I was fascinated and intrigued by it! 😊 So exciting to have these new treasures in your collection ❤️

The second I got an email from Guerlain that it was available I blind bought it. I have to say yes, it is a very soapy jasmine almost like a luxury soap. I totally agree that it doesn't seem to have the Shalimar DNA as much as I thought it would. I do get the vanilla, iris and leather in dry down but overall, it's jasmine heavy and not what I expected, so I was also a little underwhelmed. It's pretty, just nothing incredible. I prefer Jasmine Bonheur actually. I was also disappointed by the iris version. I have a travel size of the Hermes and I really like it. The Guerlain Patchouli Paris, I didn't like at all, but I struggle with Patchouli as a main player so that's that. I own the originals of both Balmains and would really be interested in your thoughts on these ones. I didn't realize they reissued them! I wish they would reissue Jolie Madame, omg!! oxJulia

It would be so fun to do a sample swap with another channel. Trade say 10 samples, but number them. No names. They experience of not knowing what you are smelling takes the experience to another level. I had this idea because I have Billie Elish 2 (the black bust). It is so enjoyable, woody, nuanced. I use it often as a base and layer with scents that are sometimes too sweet. Anyway, I thought it would be a fun idea to smell some scents not knowing the house or scent. I always love watching you channel. Thank you again, Kate (also my daughters name. She’s a Katherine).

Ok my son called but I am back to finish watching! Eau de jour was just a neroli bomb to me! Yes I agree, very citrusy! 😅 Le point G was like powdery celery, parsnips, carrots and pepper to me 🤣 I absolutely loved Noire de Mai.. very special in my opinion.. 😊 Yes it definitely reminded me of Noir de Noir! I did not like Sur La Plage, a bit of seaweed vibes to me. You may like Souvenirs de Tunisie from the brand, I found it interesting! ❤️

Yes I've noticed that salty skin quality in a lot of their fragrances!!

I have not tried any. But I have been tempted. I’m glad you reviewed them. I don’t think these are for me because my least favorite notes are marine and salty notes. Probably delivers des bois would be my favorite based on the notes alone.
