Kelly that was brilliant, I don’t have an engraving tip as yet but it was the trick of the “ghost” score lines to mimic the canvas that is absolutely genius. This will be so useful for me as I have quite a few projects that I cut very regularly that this will really help we with. As always you explain the process so well and demonstrate both the design space elements and the cutting elements brilliantly. Thank you for sharing a fab tutorial. ❤😘 Oh and the bookmarks are gorgeous!
I've been looking for thinner bookmarks. The link you provided has smaller bookmarks that are an inch wide but your video shows bookmarks that are 1.5 inches wide. Where can I find those?
Sure! There are so may available on Amazon, the ones I use I had custom made, but these ones are just over 1.5" wide so should suit your needs! amzn.to/3UxJLeT
Hi Kelly, I have Cameo 4. Is there a blade for this machine? Also have you tried this on leather? I was hoping maybe that would work for patches. thanks for all your help.
Fun to see & great to learn tips for mapping out in CDS & attaching to mat - thank you. I’m still nervous to try engraving though. How does the debris affect the machines? Any other important things to know?
You are so welcome! The debris is pretty localised, but you can get a can of compressed air to help keep your machine clean. other important things to know: just try it - you will make mistakes but you can learn from them and get better!
Just as with cutting a design out of vinyl it depends on the intricacy of your design 😊 If very intricate and has lots of Engraving lines it can take a really long time
