    Hey, I installed the monorim (the one with the exposed spring) to my Pro 2 following your tutorial, everything went good, after the first ride I got a little wiggle (I assume something adjusted during testing), when I came back made adjustments (just moved 4 screws) and now it’s great!... Thanks for the detailed explanation!...

      where did you made the adjustment? i got mine yesterday, spent more than 3 hours to assemble everything and today, while testing it i ear some noise (like some parte loose, i think it the upper part where the "turn lock" is)

    • @enggb911
      @enggb911 2 года назад

      @@EnigmaticEnigmatic loosen up the 2 screws holding the folding mechanism and then the screw holding the upper brace of the suspension… then fold the stem and tight the screw in the middle… just a little and not with too much force… unfold the stem and see that you can turn smoothly… then tighten all screws you loose… you might have to repeat the process once again after one or 2 rides… what happens is that it’s not compressed enough and after the first ride (or so) your weight and some bump in the road will press it in place for you and it will be loose…

    Tnx for your video. I tried installing the air version I've just bought on my Essential but I had to give up (for now): the air piston crashes against the front light and I've found no way to shift it a bit away (let alone the bearing wheel won't fit nicely). No way to finish the upgrade, had to rever back to stock. I feel really a boomer...

    I just installed the V4 with the coil-over (black/silver), loving it. Would it make sense to upgrade the rear tyre only to 10" to level out the scooter and add a touch of rear susppension? I fon't want to change the front to 10" because I don't want to wear out the motor with my constant speed changes, nor load firmware to compensate. I don't want to add a rear shock for weight and cost. Thanks for all the videos!

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  2 года назад +2

      Hi John
      I only ever had the front suspension and never upgraded to the 10inch wheel. Besides you would be better off upgrading both, makes no sense doing just the rear.
      I tried actually the rear suspension before and definitely could not justify buying it.

    Hi,
    I followed your videos and ordered the black version of the Monorim V2 with the exposed spring as black was a lower key look. Also bought the extender and x-lock (hope I got the names right. Fitted which was a nightmare first time round but your videos were invaluable without good paper instructions.
    Unfortunately I found with the weight of the Monorim V2 suspension shifting the centre of gravity higher that the scooter could blow over on the side stand far too easily. Also the Monorim mudguard adaptor shifted with the spacers collars when the suspension depressed. This eased when the clamps were backed off a bit, but not any where as good as stock. With all 4 Monorim items bought, I’m down about £155, and no sooner had I fitted the parts, I reverted to stock. The high centre of gravity on the stand annoyed me, and the over all look (in the flesh, not video) looked a bit cheap. Whilst o found the video hugely helpful I felt I had to express my opinion even if it was negative....but not to yourself but more the combination of the products. P.S I loved the music with the woman singing “the streets are playing with my mind”. Who is that ? I couldn’t find her music online.
    Sorry to sound negative, I just wanted to balance opinion.

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  3 года назад +2

      Hi Richard and thanks for sharing your opinion!
      What you could do with regards to the height/weight issue, is to buy the 10 inch kickstand spacer which then can help stand the scooter safer and reduce the risk of it falling over.
      I’m not sure why the mudguard adapter was shifting. I would suggest double checking the screws/bolts as I’m not 100% sure how that black suspension with the exposed spring works with it compared to the V2 or latest V3 that have the chamber with the yellow/blue springs.
      I personally have not had an issues and still think they are a great buy. The X-lock is a must for the Xiaomi to reduce the risk of stem issues.
      But again, thanks for sharing Richard!
      Scoot safe 🛴

      Hi again,
      Thanks for the swift feed back. I’m going to keep the kit till I know what the stock format can handle on the tow path (to try this afternoon).
      If I’m honest, the first upgrade I wanted to do was to up the speed and torque. I’ve seen other videos suggesting if you have above a certain number on your firmware that this won’t be possible. Mine is V2.2.4 and if I check on updates it says I have the latest. You said in one of your videos that you had a firmware flash, but was about to try another. Could you share some wisdom with a very low level computer tech guy and let me know how I can unlock some power please. I got the “down G” app on my android tablet but I need to get a zip file to flash onto my scooter.

      @@jameelahmed840 middle bolt is the main one that pulls together the bearings. Loosen it a hair until happy.

    On my m365 pro 2 I can’t seem to remove the front fork / mudguard even after following all the steps up to the point where it should ‘pop out’
    Any help anyone?

      Hi Hugh! You need to remove the middle stem screw (this holds everything in place)
      Then hit it slightly to pop it out 🛴

    60/70 6.5 are such worst tires ever ridden and they should of adding 10x3 to make fit as seen someone already put 10x3 are way better performance then most of 60/70 6.5 and was hoping if any one can try fitted 10x3 on ninebot max has same shape like Xiaomi m365
