Hey, Saberspark. My favorite top 5 best Disney cartoons I like are the following. 1. Phineas and Ferb 2. Gravity Falls 3. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command 4. American Dragon: Jake Long 5. Star vs. the Forces of Evil
I am going to be film director and I have created 5 plots for movies. These are 2 sequels of Back to the Outback, sequel of Chip'n Dale movie, Mixels revival and later Wander's final season. If you wonder, what plot will be like, I can tell you.
@@Icequ4keOfPyrrhia all of plots I mentioned above. I wrote a script for 3rd season of Wander, sequels of Back to the Outback and sequel of Chip'n Dale. But now I have to finish my studying and get able to work with Netflix and Disney

I didn't think I'd like it when I first saw the previews of it, but once I finally sat down and watched it I fell in love, and it makes me sad that not a lot of people watch it or even talk about it. Definitely would have put that here over Star Vs (just my personal opinion). The only problem I have with it is how the animation changed, and not for better IMO. I understand the circumstances why but still. It was kind of a downgrade.
Disney really knows how to create good animated shows. Even their poorer entries are still enjoyable. Now live action TV shows by Disney are another story (so repetitive)
I'm so glad Wander over Yonder made it. It's my favorite cartoon ever(not to mention Wander IMO is the best fictional character ever) and really underrated

Good list Saberspark. This is mine: Honorable mentions/ average/ decent cartoons: Penn Zero- Part Time Hero, Big City Greens, House of Mouse, Old Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Dave The Barbarian, Owl House, Amphibia. Solid Cartoons: 10. Star vs the Forces of Evil. - good animation, art, and characters. The show is full of energy, but eventually, the pace slows down. The story is alright, but the humor and romance shipping is CRINGE! 9. Kick Buttowski- underrated, but too simple and bland for it to stand out. Reminds me of The Loud House in terms of style and humor. 8. Milo Murphy's Law - Dan and Swampy show. Good writing, smart, random and fast paced. 7. Phineas and Ferb - Good writing and characters. Very creative premise, but gets formulaic. Catchy songs. Great Cartoons: 6. Kim Possible - Fast paced, badass, fun, great action, great characters, awesome theme song and carchphrases. 5. Gargoyles- It's basically Batman TAS and X-men combined. Love the storytelling and the dark ambiance. 4. New Ducktales - Reminds me of Gravity Falls and it's on track to be on par with it. Nice style, quirky humor, retro but current. The storytelling and arcs are coming into form, and of course, The Theme Song Is The Catchiest Theme Song in History! Big improvement from the OG. The Masterpieces: 3. Gravity Falls- The best storytelling and world-building I have seen in a children's cartoon. Love the dark, mystery feel. Great characters, decent humor, good animation and style , amazing imagination and writing. 2. Wander over Yonder - Looks Gorgeous, great characters, great humor, good storytelling, amazing imagination, charm, and direction! Typical Craig McCracken! 1. The Modern Mickey Mouse Shorts / The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse - THIS IS THE PERFECT, AMERICAN CARTOON. The FUNNIEST show Disney has EVER made. Every aspect of this show is Perfection! THE HUMOR, the animation/art , the direction, the writing, the music, the voice acting, the creativeness, everything is near perfection. These cartoons are short, but they are gold . They are timeless slices of heaven! It's up there with Old Looney Tunes, and Tom and Jerry. This is the GOAT cartoon from Disney. Paul Rudish, you are a genius, and please keep making more!!!!!!!!
Kick buttowski is extremely underrated, it actually is the only shows in its demographics that is actually enjoyable. Plus, kicks voice puts a smile on my face.
Too bad, you didn't putt that many Disney Afternoon Cartoons in your list besides DuckTales and Gargoyles. But seems that those two are the two biggest ones from the 90s era. My personal favorite Disney show is Darkwing Duck. If I would make a list, it would look like this: 1. Darkwing Duck 2. Ducktales (1987) 3. Mickey Mouse Shorts 4. Gargoyles 5. Kim Possible 6. Gravity Falls 7. Talespin 8. Chip'n Dale Rescue Rangers 9. Gummibears 10. Wander over Yonder
I'd honestly say Tron: Uprising is one of my favourites. Blows the movies out of the water and possibly the best movie based cartoon ever made. Also, Milo Murphy's Law is on the same level as Phineas and Ferb. Incredibly funny and charming.
LOL, just made a comment mentioning these exact two shows as well. Browsing through to see if anyone else mentioned Milo and this was the first I came across.
I was wondering how Milo turned out. I remember hearing about it when it came out, then I watched a few episodes and never got to watching it again. I assumed that it mustn’t have been that good, since I’ve barely heard anything about it.
Malefenshmirtz Evil Incorporated but it’s not really a corporation cause corporations haven’t been invented yet so it’s more like a guild or a tradesman association!
Well...Allen Young did a whole bunch of voice-overs for a Christian radio show made by Focus on the Family called _Adventures in Odyssey_ (where Scrooge's Scottish rival plays the main character Mr. Whitaker, and Little Mermaid's Triton makes a few appearances as well) so he gets lots of Jesus points. If God's real, he'll definitely live on.
Tangled: The Series/ Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure is my show! It really expands the universe of Tangled in a really huge way! You know, I really wonder what happened to Cassandra during Rapunzel and Eugene’s marriage since she wasn’t present in Tangled Ever After. Also, speaking of Phineas and Ferb, Dr. Doofenshmirtz was is seriously the best character in the show. His sense of humor gets me all the time!
The art syle for the tangled series was based off of Rapunzel's paintings in the movie. They brought back the artist who created rapunzels paintings for the movie to help design the show. I just love that.
@Squidward Season 3 wasn't random, it was kinda foreshadowed like since season 1 and 2, you got a book of spells that explains nearly everything that went on with the previous queens, it's maybe disappointing since the villain from season 1 and 2 got erased on it's first 4 episodes or so but it was kinda necessary later for the plot of meteora, muman monster relations and season 4 plot, my friend suggested me to watch yander too so I'm thinking to watch it on summer, don't know if it's better than star or not since I didn't watch it so I'll give it a try
@Squidward well you got some points, cant say it's the best show on the world, yes the show doesn't have a great focus and cant say that season 4 will be better but even maybe worse, Mena loveberry is the closest to be the antagonist and that's kinda disappointing, the plot taking time isn't a problem at all it's just the timing and I think season 4 got the worst by far "cant judge as the season still airs currently" so it's kinda a wait for it to get better situation, the only thing that had good potential but ended disappointing so far was lake house fever other than that it's all cool kinda, I respect your points and opinion and the conversation is satisfying so far :)
My Top 10 10. Big Hero 6: The Series 9. Gargoyles 8. Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventures 7. Recess 6. Milo Murphy's Law 5. Kim Possible 4. Phineas and Ferb 3. Star vs the Forces of Evil (originally #1 but droppped due to Season 4's story being so rushed) 2. Gravity Falls 1. DuckTales 2017
My favorite Disney cartoons: Gravity Falls Recess Pepper Ann Wander Over Yonder Dave the Barbarian The Weekenders Brandy & Mr. Whiskers Star vs the Forces of Evil The current Mickey Mouse shorts Big City Greens Timon & Pumbaa House of Mouse Goof Troop
Timon & Pumbaa was great, same with the Weekenders and Brandy and Mr Whiskers, Recess and all the Disney Afternoon shows. I grew up watching the Disney cartoons from about 2000 to 2005, those 5 years made my childhood, I was born in 1993. I wish I could go back and revisit those years.
Hey Saber, let me start by saying Thank You! Thank you for your great programming. Dude I could listen to you for hours. I found, quite by accident, your talk on Disney. Man I fell in love with everything you had to say. I found myself learning things and understanding others. I spent over an hour and a half watching your stuff so I just had to subscribe. Being a cartoony from the mid fifties I totally get all you say and I’m hooked. It’s great to hear people are out there that feel and think the same way. Thanks again and being father to four, ages 32, 37, 38, 39, the small gap toward the end can be blamed on the quality of cartoons in that era. and grandfather to six ages four days, five years, six years, nine years, 16 years and, 19 years. I’m sure we’ll be going to your store. Maybe I’ll send you a group pic of all of us in your stuff. That would be cool. Like what your doing man...keep it up because it’s got value. Thanks again - Hubbib - Hawai’i.
I love me some Phineas and Ferb, I cry when i hear the Gravity Falls theme song, Star vs The Forces of Evil is so cute i could die, and Wonder over Yonder was so unbelievably good.
I agree, especially for number 1 Its not that I havent watched duck tales, I have (only the 2017 version tho) but... I really liked the way gravity falls has a overall story and a goal, and at the end you feel like you watched a movie - it has beginning, development and at the end a conclusion. Duck tales was really good, but felt too episodic at moments. Its not a bad thing, but I personally prefer a show to have a goal and and ending
So happy to see the Ducktales reboot getting #1 as its probably my favorite as well. However, I think that Tangled: The Series should have been higher. The storytelling, writing, and songs in that show are just incredible.
After watching the original Ducktales & then seeing Huey, Dewey & Louie in Kingdom Hearts II I made it a necessity to determine which was which. Here’s what I came up with: Huey has a bright red hue Dewey is blue like dew drops & Louie is green like Luigi
Never saw Star vs. But I've seen the intro and it's really cool. I recommend the parody S.T.A.R.S Vs the Forces of Resident Evil. It's freaking awesome!
Great roster. Animated classic-wise, I will say that Lilo and Stitch the series was one of my favourites as a child, even though it’s not on the list. But aside from that, Recess was definitely one of my faves, along with Kim Possible and Phineas and Ferb.
Seconded. A far better princess of blonde hair than fucking Star Butterfly could ever hope to be. Fuck, Tangled is just a better show, by far, honestly...
Wow, I'm 32 and only realised while watching this video, that in different countries cartoon characters can have different names! I was so confused when you talked about Huey, Dewey, and Louie because I only know them as Tick, Trick and Track :-D Every day we learn something new ^^
Tangled the Series has some of the best music ever put to television, fascinating world building, realistic characters and traumas, and a really healthy portrayal of relationships
Oh man, I remember that episode of Recess, even at the end the kid didn't like TJ, indeed a good lesson to teach & learn. One of my favorites was when the main kids made friends with Randal. I think I knew Gargoyles before I knew Star Trek TNG, & YEARS later, finding out a good chunk of the cast worked on both was pretty fun.
Phineas and Ferb was the biggest show for me when I was age 7 I think ... I mean I was totally OBSESSED with Phineas and Ferb!!! But by the time I started collecting the big merch, I started getting into the new My Little Pony. Yes I was a female brony. And then that was the big thing. Then after the My Little Pony craze, I got into the things I'm sort of still into now. 5 Nights at Freddy's, creepypasta, the furry fandom, and the big hit when I was 13 was............ Gravity Falls. I still love it. It's the greatest Disney show I've ever seen. Plus, I adore Bill Cipher. And of course, out of all these crazes I went through, there was one show that I totally loved among them. It was none other than SpongeBob. (Do I even really need to explain why I love this show so much?)
@Osmák Carmen hey!!! I almost forgot!!!! I'm a wild Kratts fan too!!! I almost have all the figures!!!! And I used to have a crush on Chris when I was younger. Too bad I can't get PBS on my TV anymore. I grew up with it, and yes. I know I can watch it online, but I prefer reliving my childhood the way I did a couple years ago. Aw man, I'm still into wild Kratts, but I'm more of a Pokemon fan now.
I was obsessed with Wild Kratts. I still have my 3Ds and there are just random pictures on shots of my old tv with wild kratts on it. I still remember the race episode! That shit was so cool! I always wanted to be a vet, now I wanna be a filmmaker/editor. The shit you watch as a kid really does impact your personality, that’s for sure.
Star VS is a waste of time. The story turns into a break up and love triangle drama for two seasons. It has Tom and Kelly as potential love interests for Star and Marco, but the former two only exist so they can be dumped, because throughout it all it's obvious that Star and Marco are going to get back together. Why'd they split up in the first place? Star is indecisive, that's it. So much fun to watch someone be indecisive for two seasons and only ask herself questions when the plot demands it.
Not only that, but all the time they waste on the needless relationship drama leaves every episode pretty much empty of plot. After season 2, basically every episode I found myself asking "why did I just watch that? What was the point of that episode?" Honestly, I think it had to do with the fact that Giancarlo Volpe, one of the directors for Avatar, was also a director for Star vs... until the second season ended. After that, he left and a tumblrina snowflake took over. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it doesn't feel like it to me

Wander over Yonder flopped in its ratings. It was not popular at all. That may be one of the reasons why Disney pulled the plug on it.
It was pretty dang popular in the right circles. Its advertising was just screwed up. Also, the Save WOY movement is still going. It took 5 years for Kim Possible and who knows how long for Samurai Jack, but people still managed it. And WOY already has a third season prepared and it’s only been 3 years since its “ending,” and people are willing to give up already?! I don’t think so!

So glad you talked about Tangled the Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. I didn't think I'd like it when I first saw the previews of it, but once I finally sat down and watched it I fell in love, and it makes me sad that not a lot of people watch it or even talk about it. It's not perfect, but it's still surprisingly charming and fun(and even emotional) for a TV series based on a Disney movie.
I'm rather sad that people only like it because of varian.

Hi
I'm still holding out hope for Wander Over Yonder because if Disney puts it on streaming and it does well, then Disney might give us more. I'm never going to lose hope that this show gets more attention.
Yeah. It took 5 years for Kim Possible and who knows how long for Samurai Jack, but people still managed to bring them back. And WOY already has a third season prepared and it’s only been 3 years since its “ending,” and people are willing to give up already?! I don’t think so!
American Dragon: Jake Long was my jam.
@Squidward Nope. He was definitely Disney.
@Squidward get back to work, or you're fired
Definitely would have put that here over Star Vs (just my personal opinion). The only problem I have with it is how the animation changed, and not for better IMO. I understand the circumstances why but still. It was kind of a downgrade.
oh.. i remember that show in my very early disney days.
LOL I fucking knew jake long was going to be mentioned in the comments section
Disney really knows how to create good animated shows. Even their poorer entries are still enjoyable. Now live action TV shows by Disney are another story (so repetitive)
Good Luck Charlie was actually pretty good.
I haven't heard of that one.
I can never tell their live action shows apart. They all look the same to me.
Don't even get me started on the live action reboots of the movies lmao
Andi Mack is actually pretty good.
I'm so glad Wander over Yonder made it. It's my favorite cartoon ever(not to mention Wander IMO is the best fictional character ever) and really underrated

All of my friends and I have built our friendships on quoting Spongebob, Phineas and Ferb, and Regular Show. Cartoons like these are a blessing👍🏻
Good list Saberspark. This is mine:
Honorable mentions/ average/ decent cartoons: Penn Zero- Part Time Hero, Big City Greens, House of Mouse, Old Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Dave The Barbarian, Owl House, Amphibia.
Solid Cartoons:
Great Cartoons:
The Masterpieces:
This mustve taken you hours to write so i like
Nice list too
I second this
Kick buttowski is extremely underrated, it actually is the only shows in its demographics that is actually enjoyable.
If I would make a list, it would look like this:
1. Darkwing Duck
2. Ducktales (1987)
3. Mickey Mouse Shorts
4. Gargoyles
5. Kim Possible
6. Gravity Falls
7. Talespin
8. Chip'n Dale Rescue Rangers

Me ❤️ Ducktales theme song, both TV versions, and Scrooge McDuck portrayed by Allen Young. May the spirit of Allen Young Live on
Well...Allen Young did a whole bunch of voice-overs for a Christian radio show made by Focus on the Family called _Adventures in Odyssey_ (where Scrooge's Scottish rival plays the main character Mr.
I didn’t know that, I love tts even more now
Nice to see Wander over Yonder so high-ranked. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a fervent supporter of #SaveWOY.
Placing Wander Over Yonder over Star Vs.
God Bless you and your good taste!
@Squidward you obviously didn't watch the show did you?
SmashGuy yes
yes indeed

Here’s what I came up with:

Then after the My Little Pony craze, I got into the things I'm sort of still into now. 5 Nights at Freddy's, creepypasta, the furry fandom, and the big hit when I was 13 was............ Gravity Falls. I still love it. It's the greatest Disney show I've ever seen. Plus, I adore Bill Cipher. And of course, out of all these crazes I went through, there was one show that I totally loved among them. It was none other than SpongeBob. (Do I even really need to explain why I love this show so much?)

What was the point of that episode?"
Honestly, I think it had to do with the fact that Giancarlo Volpe, one of the directors for Avatar, was also a director for Star vs... until the second season ended. After that, he left and a tumblrina snowflake took over. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it doesn't feel like it to me
2:22-2:26 You're right. Look at Lion King: It got the TIMON & PUMBAA show in the 90s, & THE LION GUARD that is still going on today.
