      Gargoyles definetly rate above crested. They grow back their tail.
      Crested drop their tail for pretty much no reason like if you look at them the wrong way or use a vacuum cleaner in the same room. But the tail does not grow back, leaving you with a frog like thing.

    0:32 I have once had a leopard gecko, but not a bearded dragon. But some of the reason is recommended space requirement is a lot more for a bearded dragon than leopard gecko (and a lot more than what theyre given in the pet store as well). Both seem kinda in the beginner category for a reptile. And for the monent I decided against having any form of reptile because my grandma has a phobia of reptiles (all exept turtles), I live much closer to her now and she would not visit at all if I had a reptile.

      If Jurassic Park makes a Dinosaur look like a certain lizard - whereas this Dinosaur actually didn't look like that lizard - just to make it look cooler, then that lizard is definitely legend.

    Not listed but Tegus are 100% legendary. Have had three of them. Literal cats in lizard form, smarter than cat I come to realize.

    I've never felt so meh in my life! I rescue and rehab reptiles and exotics. My current lizards are beardies, leos, AFT, crestie, gargoyle, tokay, chameleon gecko, sav, Madagascar spiny tail iguana a pair of Saharan Uromastyx and a tegu. I don't even think my cool ones cancel out my mids and mistake 😂😂😂

    • @gizmosreptiles
      @gizmosreptiles  7 дней назад +1

      Hahaha. All pet reptiles are great and fall into the legendary category for different people. This is just my personal list, and I'm just some guy on RUclips. What do I know, lol? You provided a rehab and reptile rescue, so you should also fall into the legendary category.

  • @N.Sniper
    @N.Sniper 11 дней назад +1

    I have a pair Rankin's dragons, which are a kind of bearded dragon the size of a leopard gecko. They look better, have a very soft beard you can pet, are similar in handling and personality but are much more social (cohab better). And you have a bearded dragon species that most don't have. Would rank it in cool, higher than its big brother.
    TOTALLY agree with Australian water dragons being legend. I want these so bad.
    Same with my other top wish list lizard: armadillo girdled lizard. Like a tiny armored dragon, but one that you actually see (unlike the croc skink), could not be anything other than legend.
    What if the fat tail gecko evolved before the leopard gecko? Wouldn't that make the leopard gecko plagiarism?
    The crested loses its tail if you look at it the wrong way. And it doesn't grow back, leaving you with a reptilian frog, which is meh.
    The Gargoyle on the other hand does grow back its tail.
    Legless lizards are so cool. Look kinda like a snake but its not.
    Wait a minute. The frilled lizard not legend?
    Come on, even Jurassic Park made a Dinosaur that doesn't actually look like a frilled lizard look like one just to make it cooler! How could that be anything else then legend?

    • @gizmosreptiles
      @gizmosreptiles  10 дней назад

      The Rankin's dragon sounds like an interesting option. It does sound better than the daddy version.
      In regards to the fat-tailed gecko, you would be correct. Whoever came first deserves the mid-category, all copycats get demoted by 1 point. But saying that, the leopard gecko is hell a popular. They get a bump for being a celebrity.

    Love your channel & your videos… mixed with a little bit of sarcasm ! They always make me laugh at some point 🤣
    Just a few things 😏
    1. 100% I’ve never owned a bearded dragon…. Not in the past, not currently & never in the future will I own a bearded dragon. I am so done with the bearded dragon craze, I could vomit 🤮 LOL 😂🤣
    2. I have a slight discrepancy with the Savannah monitor placement on the tier list. It should definitely be up there on the cool list next to the Ackie !
    3. I currently have a Savannah & I also had another one that I had for 4yrs. Savannahs make pretty amazing pets actually ! They are very intelligent and you can have quite the amazing bond with these monitors. None of mine have ever been mean or grumpy or bitty or tail whippy. lol. I’ve handled other Savannahs besides my own and have never experienced any of that. Monitors require socialization & training… if you’re willing to put in the work with them, they will 100% be an amazing pet 😊🦎
    4. BAM 💥 There ya go ! Lmao !
    Just a friendly comment 😏
    & if you ever need a Savannah or a peach throat video… i’ve got plenty on my channel you can use ! 😎🦎🤙🏻

      @gizmosreptiles  10 дней назад

      Hmmm, I did not set up this RUclips channel for my opinions and expertise to be challenged, mainly because my self-esteem is lower than the Savannah monitor’s placement on me tier list. 😅 After watching one of your videos, I have to admit… I might have been a tiny bit unfair with the Savannah placement. Maybe. Possibly. Almost definitely. Let’s break down your numbers.
      1.
      Out of curiosity, where would you place the bearded dragon on this tier list? Because I can tell you’re absolutely in love with the beardy craze. 😉 I think you might just be jealous of their beards, but hey, that’s just my take.
      2.
      As for moving the Savannah monitor to “cool,” here’s the issue: each reptile is only allowed one tier upgrade per year. Even if I wanted to, they’re contractually stuck in “Mistake” for now. Rules are rules. (I don’t make them, I just enforce.) That said, your videos almost make me want to bend them… almost.
      3.
      You must work in sales because your Savannah monitor pitch is top-tier. You almost have me ready to go out and get one right now. Almost.
      4.
      I’ll be honest, I have no idea how to respond to your virtual mic drop. But if I had a hat, I’d take it off to you and say: touche.
      Thanks for the comment! It’s great to read something with so much personality. I’ll be revisiting the tier list eventually-maybe the Savannah monitor will get another chance. Maybe. 😉
      Looking forward to more witty comments, glad to have you on the channel! You have some great content too.

    I had both leopard geckos and a bearded dragon. The dragon was the most intelligent herp I owned. I never kept monitors. Also crested geckos, but I keep them up to now and I think that they are cooler. I am going to upgrade the anole, because from a European perspective it is something cool. Legless lizards are native here and are more boring than they seem, because they hide all of the time. Why no legendary animals? You’re perfect for a comedian, but probably bad for a teacher. You would be like those who give mediocre grades to students even if they are good to humble them.

      @N.Sniper 11 дней назад +1

      Well he did mention the Australian water dragon being legend. And I think he should have put the frilled in legend.

    • @gizmosreptiles
      @gizmosreptiles  10 дней назад

      I just want those students to understand that it's a hard world out there. If I don't teach them, then they may never learn. I'm doing a necessary service. In regards to being a comedian, that's not possible, I'm just an actor, and all of this is scripted.

    Your style and attitude made the video unwatchable for me. If you make a tierlist next time you should tell your arguments. Not just "because I say so"
