Even in its best days this was a second-rate railroad in Cleveland. Yet maybe that's part of what makes it interesting. Hand-me-down power, third-world track condition, and yet it's still in operation. I thought the evening scene of the train on the PRR tracks running along side the one on the W&LE tracks was just killer! At my age I'd never consider standing alone in the evening anywhere near Aetna Road or E. 91st Street and taking videos of this scene, but I'm so grateful you did, Skyhawk. What a vicarious thrill to watch this video!
Appreciate it! I can't say I am very familiar with the area, so I don't really know if the neighborhoods are safe or not. But I am from north west Indiana and frequently go out to "the region" (Gary/East Chicago/South Chicago, etc), so I wasn't worried. I'm just there for the trains, that's all!
