A good excuse for a guitar player is "I only turned it up to 3". But we know that can be pretty deadly. In my surf band I usually turn the Deluxe Reverb up to 3 and we don't mic it.
It's pretty clean sounding that's for sure! Kind of unnecessary. I have a decent array of smaller tube amps. This one is kind of top of the line old school Fender. They are pretty desirable!
Check your reverb tank orientation. I have a 1968 Super Reverb. Try turning your reverb tank around with the jacks facing the speakers if they are not already. Mine feeds back if tank has jacks facing out. Turned the tank and that went away. Something to do with the transformer and speaker magnetic fields I think. Also lightly cleaning the jacks with 1000 grit sand paper and Deoxit contact cleaner helps get rid of the hum as it gets a better ground contact.
Thanks Nate! It is a song called "The Hearse" which was on our Something Weird CD. Also a live version was released. music.apple.com/us/album/the-hearse-live/1175634562?i=1175634574
2 is quite loud on my Princeton. It was really loud on my Twin.

Sounds like reverb tank to close to speakers
I've got a '68 coming in soon. We will test that one too.
Great sounding amp! Nice DiPinto too! ❤
Wow thank you!
Sweet amp!
I love it! Thanks a ton for checking it out.
Love it. Really good tone. Thanks Brook.

I like the amp, but all the amps i have had had good reverb settings. The added benefit is the nasty channel!

Check out Max working on the amp! He's really fast. Plus a SZ song. Bonus. Subscribe to Max. He's awesome! ruclips.net/video/nGCOD_P4mUI/видео.html
Is that a Dipinto guitar?
Cool Brook. What riff do you keep playing throughout this? You start it at about 6:30

Does your guitar have more knobs than your amp?
More switches for sure!
