Ara, The Flower Stand came out perfect and magical. I love the blue glow, I think that was the perfect idea to tie everything together. Thank you so for making me the Mirror Gate for my NeverEnding Story series. It was so cool to see how you made the mirror gate. I was so curious what you used when I had it in my hands. I am truly honored to be a part of this collaboration with you. I had so much fun.🥰
Thank you so much Lesley!! Your fairy was the perfect touch to really add a story to the diorama😊 Isn't funny how you can see a hand made miniature and imagine so many different ways it could have been made? What's underneath all that paint😄 I am so glad you liked it and it worked well in your scene! Thank you for the collaboration❤
Looks great! Now for bonus points add a sinlge LED to the plant pot with the iIcicle flowers so they glow with magic hiding the battery pack in the flower table.
I live in Minne-SNOW-ta and I can say the snow looks VERY real and natural the way you did it. I love the blue hue for the fairy but think it is still missing a little..... something... maybe some silver sparkle of some sort? or irridescent topping to put on the snow around her (and the pot) to add to the blue hue? Everything else looks just perfect!
I absolutely love this, the blue reads really well, I can tell it's the glow from the fairy. I also loved the mirror that you made too, it kinda reminded me of the star gate portal, I now wanna try make one of those but have too many projects going at once
Love the project, so very cute! But now I'm suffering severely from having a song about sewing small soil sacks stuck in my head...ha ha! Great bloopers there.
Oh Ara, that reminds me of Northern Arizona. It snows there and there’s lots of little places that look like that little stand. I think your abandoned flower stand turned out really fantastic. The snow turned out so nicely. It looks real.❤️❤️❤️
I love how this came out. It kind of does look like the snow is glowing blue from the fairy. I'm not a fan of purple but I really love the aged purple with the brown and white wash. I love the white wash as another option from the black. The dead plants in the brown pots give off such an authentic look and feel for an abandoned winter scene. I especially love the snow drift that the wind has blown inside the stand. The fairy making a crystal snowflake plant is lovely. I'm obsessed with her wings.🥰❤️
Aw, I love this!!! The flower stand turned out perfectly and so did the little fairy!! I watched her make the other day and was really impressed. Y'all both make everything look so easy but that's because y'all are so talented at what you do!!
Thank you Joni! I am so glad you enjoyed both parts of the collab❤ Videos definitely make things look easy because they condense hours or work into a few minutes, but we definitely struggle as well!
The blue glow worked well. I wonder if a light under some clear scrap plastic, then covered in snow would have made it really glow. I love the dormant flower shop and the idea that the frost fairy creates her own snow drop flowers.
@BentleyHouseMinis You realize, I hope that this means making a new diorama with glowing snow! Yes! The blue in the snow works! Are you going to show us how you design a case for a pre-made diorama!? That would be totally Aces for me!🫖📚🧘♀️🐈⬛🪺🖖
What a darling little stand! Love all the details of the pots, soil bags (great tip on the foil inside!), broken chair... everything! it all came together with the snow and the fairy. Magical! And I do think the blue glow works. Much love!
Fellow Texan! I agree that we dont see enough dutch doors here 😭 theres so much beautiful architecture that we hardly see here. On another note, this build is so cool! You are so talented!! I love seeing your work and i hope to see it in person some day 😂
I loved this video. The word "fairy" got my attention as I intend to do a fairy scene myself sometime. As always, I have learned something from watching you. I do love that you used the blue in the snow. It will help for others who would need a coloured light shining in the snow like a streetlight or outside house light.
The whole thing turned out beautifully! I love it and I love all the work that went into it! The fairy was the perfect addition and really made the flower shop come alive. I love how you did the snow. You did a fantastic job!
Wow, Ara, this scene is so beautiful! I love the purple on it. The fairy is gorgeous also, and I really like the kit. The blue around the fairy was a bit much until you knocked it back a bit, but now it definitely gives the vibe that she is glowing onto the things around her. All of it together is a 10 out of 10!
So sweet! So beautiful! To imagine that this is what is going on outside, while we are all tucked in for the night. I imagine that sometimes Jack Frost may accompany the little Icicle Fairy on her artistic adventures. The purple background color reminds me of how the shadows form, as the sun sets, in the snowy winter wonderlands of our world. Love the work that you did on Lesleys mirror. Perfect!
This is just such a wonderful project. I love the techniques you use. You're just so talented and you make us feel like we can try and do something like this, too. Watching your channel has been a great re-introduction to miniatures for me, as I had stepped away from them for so long. Thanks for sharing.
This is so charming and it might be odd to say, it gives a warm and welcoming vibe. It looks like the fairy has taken a cold and abandoned place with neglected objects and brought her special magic to bring it all to life in a different way. The saying, "Bloom where you are planted" came to mind. I just love this. Thank you for sharing so many creative techniques!
Aww I love that saying paired with this scene. A winter fairy making her own flowers definitely fits in with that! Thank you so much Rachael!😊 I am so glad it feels like a warm cheery space... even though its cold and full of dead plants lol!
This is wonderful and I’m obsessed with the fairy’s face. The best was how you did the blue glow. Especially since it really did not look great at first 😅. But then you just fixed it so perfectly!
What a special project! The addition of the blue was genius! It really added a lot of "Magic" to the entire diorama! The fairy is adorable and the Flower Stand is precious with all the details you added. You are amazing.
I'm insane, so I might have wired some blue lights under her skirt to cast the blue onto the snow, but that would probably be too much. I love your work and this is gorgeous.
This is such a lovely project, I love the vision of the fairy adding her magic to this dead flower stand. I think the blue worked out quite fantastically, what a great idea, but what? no shoe? 😉 Amazing work as always, love seeing your creativity come alive! ❤
This is so cool!! What a treat. I think the most realistic snowfall in in the back on the door side, where you have a few pots stacked. I couldn't see the fairy snow very well, but what a cool addition!! I can wait until you restock those pots!! I gotta have those for my granddaughter's dollhouse!!
When I think of a roadside 'flower stand' I expect cut flowers. Buckets filled with cut farm flowers, paper wrap, big vase of roses, etc. And only a few potted plants and trays of bedding plants.
Such a fun project, and I actually got two incredibly brilliant ideas...the watered down glue in the spray bottle is mind blowing, and using Spanish moss in this way was absolutely the perfect solution. I honestly want to think of a scene that needs some dead plants now! Oh..the aluminum foil in the soil bags is also brilliant!. Did I mention that you are the most brilliant? 🙂 I loved everything about this. Well done as always, Ara!
Thank you!! I can't take credit for the glue water however, as I have seen that on many terrain makers channels. It's such a great idea and this was the first time I tried it out. I am so glad it worked out well! I am so glad you got some ideas and inspiration for your own projects❤
What a perfectly charming scene! I love the idea of the fairy making icicle plants. The misty blue snow came out perfect once you put the top layer on and I think it made clear the fact that it was the glow of the fairy's magic. I also really like the way you did the pots and the bags of soil. Ne ver thought of putting aluminum in them! Also, Lesley's mirror is wonderful! I adore crystals and you used them perfectly.
Thank you Andrea!! I am so glad that the snow worked out. It was pretty nerve-wracking to dust that blue all over the nice white snow I just created lol! I am so glad you liked both parts of the collab!
The Frozen Flower Stand is very magical and beautiful. The soft blue ads a soft glow of winter. Everything looks great and the snow fairy is beautiful. This is one of my favorites. Ira, keep creating.😊❤
I think you really nailed the blue glow effect. The snowflake plant looks like it has a light in the pot. I also really appreciate that you included info about how you made the mirror frame for Lesley. I was itching to see how it was made after I saw it on her channel. You did a beautiful job. Thanks for sharing.
I am so glad you enjoyed both builds! The mirror for Lesley was so fun to create and I am so glad she asked me to do it! I am so honored it will be included in her huge Never Ending Story project!
I love how the Ice Fairy looks in your abandoned Flower Shop. She looks so magical and the light blue really highlights her magic powers. I was happy to see you using the white sand again after seeing you use it for The Shining diorama. It makes the spackle really look like snow.
After watching Lesley's video where she added blue lights... I think it would have been really cool if I had thought of it lol! I decided to keep this one electricity free but it definitely would have been fun to see it actually glow!
I love everything about this...i do think that toning the blue snow down with more white worked well (good thing WillinrowArts didn't make you a yellow fairy! lol). I was also wondering if some pale blue or even some iridescent glitter might have also worked?
Hahahaha... that is hilarious!! Yes I am very grateful for the blue! I don't think I would have tried the same concept with yellow snow😄 Thanks Jennifer!
The abandoned flower stand turned out so cool! At first I was a little bit concerned, when you added the blue glow with that chalk pastel, but you definitely made the right call with adding another layer of the spackling and sand to tone it down a little. Now it definitely looks like glow! Great job also with the mirror/portal you built. Lesley did such a great job with the fairy, and I'm sure she is loving her new home. :)
Wow Ara! You truly are inspirational! You explanations for the techniques you use are so clear and I feel I could tackle any of them. As For the blue effect, I think when you went back in and added more snow, etc. it really came to life. Feels more of a glow now and very magical :)
Absolutely love this project (as I love everything you do)! The blue is incredible and I think it did exactly what you were hoping- adds a touch of magic! Would it be possible to add a little of the blue on the end of her wand? I don’t know, just a thought. Love your work!!
I love this. The blue glow is terrific. And her taking the time to make ice flowers was sweet. You never fail to amaze me. And yes, no dark paint was hurt in the making of this diorama. lol ❄❄❄
You are so incredibly talented Ara, I’m always impressed by your laser focus attention to detail. Have you ever thought about creating the castle in Howl’s Moving Castle? I think you could rock it! 💚💚

I love this video. Thanks

it looks very realistic to me. my porch kind of looks like that with my dead plants and all! great job.
Absolutely love this I love the blue ❤
Ara, just perfect as usual!!! Love this.
What a beautiful creative story you tell with this project!❄️❄️❄️
I live in Minne-SNOW-ta and I can say the snow looks VERY real and natural the way you did it.

I love this little build it turned out so cool!
I don’t see the shoo you like to put into your dioramas? Did you forget?
I knew you'd do something amazing for her. Whole scenery looks really nice. I love the selection of colors and details. Great job as always ☺
I love it and her project too!
Thank you Billy!!
I'd rather sew anything by hand than setting up my sewing machine! 🦇💕 this video!
Haha yes... it's just so heavy!

Love it even though it is a kit you made it your own😊
