I admit I miss seeing your videos. But understand fully family comes first. I hope n pray all is going well. We will all be here welcoming you back with open arms when your able to make content. Know your loved admired n missed.
I have big plastikcontainers for each future project . All the minis for each projekt are in seperate siplockbags, so I can see what I have already .I am 72 and there are 7 projekts which I want to complete before I stop building . When my dear husband was still alive , we completed 5 to 7 projekts a year . Now without his help I do 1 or 2 a year . We have a small private museum with 135 selfbuilt dollshouses and roomboxes . I love Ara 's videos ! Rita from Germany
I’m so glad things are looking better for your family member. I’ll keep them in my thoughts as time goes on. I hope you and the rest of your family are also remembering to take care of yourselves in this time. It’s just so easy to forget about small self care needs when having to take care of someone else with more important needs. I’m glad you found a way to get some content out that hopefully wasn’t as consuming as an actual project but was useful for your space/workflow and was also entertaining for us to watch as well. Thank you for taking the time to film. I really enjoy your content and I appreciate how much work both physically and emotionally goes into making your videos, especially in this time.
Thank you!! We have a great support system which is really helping us take care of ourselves when we need a break or help in some way. I am very grateful for that! I have a few other ideas of things I can do while we are in a waiting stage. It helps to do something that can be dropped and ignored easily when I am needed. I really appreciate your kind words!
Oooh! A toy store sounds so fun! 🥰🤩 I'm thankful your family member is getting better. ❤ Organizing all those things was a HUGE undertaking. No wonder you got decision fatigue! I'm glad you took breaks when you needed. I enjoyed the new video and getting a peek at your collection.
Take your time and don't worry about posting regularly. I've seen your community post so just keep us updated by posting there if you need to. I always say that health and family always comes first. I think that every crafter suffers from storage problems. Some people are good at keeping things organized but even those people sometimes have to put the organizing aside for a while due to life (health, job, etc.) so sorting and storing are always an issue. As someone that doesn't really have ONE kind of dedicated craft, I have tons of miscellaneous stuff laying around and it is absolutely dreadful to face them to organize when things get out of hand. My advice is always to take a deep breath and tackle one thing at a time. At least it is what I always say to myself when I decide to try organizing things. 😅
Dear Tatsuemin, I'm in the same situation as you because I have different crafts that I love doing. I make jewellery as well as miniatures, so I have lots of stuff to organise. Luckily, I often use my jewellery supplies when I make miniature items like vases and lamps, and even furniture. But that doesn't stop my craft room from being very messy 😅 I've finally asked a friend to help me clear out lots of stuff I don't need or want any more, so she's coming over next week and we're going to spend the day organising my horrible craft room. 😅 So wish me luck! Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia ❤
Dear Ara, I envy you for your many dollhouse accessories, but also for the sorting and packaging. That's why my favorite box is the "sorting" one. I would have packed (thrown) everything into a big box a long time ago. respect for your patience. 😊😊😁😁😁😁
1)So good to see your face again. Happy to hear your family member is improving. 2) Comforting to watch you sort minis. I love to sort minis. I have 3 bankers boxes won from auction that need sorting. This is my inspiration. 3) There is no shame in gathering many, many minis. I like that you donate that which you don’t intend to use. Welcome back, Ara!
Oh yes, I have had my time sorting. I have a tip for anyone that doesnt have a label machine. I write in Sharpie which is durable. When it is time to change, I buy acetone from the nail section at walmart next to the nail polish removers to remove the Sharpie and change the label. Love your content all the time. Thanks for the videos. As for this video, it makes me think Im less crazy for the stashes I have.
Well done Ara!!👏👏👏 Way to plough through the organization!! I APPRECIATE THIS VIDEO!! I hope the health of whoever is ill , is getting better!🙏💛 GOOD JOB DARLING!
I did the exact same organizing in January. I found so many items and architectural pieces I forgot I had, and now I’m inspired to create some room boxes. Feels so good to be organized!
This was a very fun video to watch and I’m glad everything is organized now I’m sure it’s a load off. Please take as much time as you need. We will happily wait.
Wow! Glad to see u back! Glad you're able to take care of your family! Prayers and blessings!! Any videos u put out is very interesting long or short. Thanks.
Sending my thoughts and prayers for you, Ara, and your family member ))))))🙏🏽 💛 I loved seeing your miniature collection, and what a task to organize all of it.
An amazing achievement! Well done. I had one thought about your clear labels. If they’re not too easily read because the background is clear, try sticking a piece of white masking tape over them on the inside of the container, it may help. I’m so glad your family health problems are getting some resolution. I know only too well how draining being a carer for someone can be. It’s not something that you’d never think of stopping but is very hard to do. I hope things continue to improve for you and your family. Stay strong. We may not be there in person to help out but you are all in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. My love and support to you all always. 💕💕💕💐
What an enormous task! I was tired just watching you! But it has inspired me to keep going with my own sorting, and also gave me some direction on how to organize better, both in the end, and during the process. Thank you!
I don't know how people manage to have more than one project going on at a time! I barely manage just one. Well, I guess it really isn't just one. I'll say, one major and many minor. One house with lots of things in the makings to go into that house. That's as much as I can manage or have storage space for. My "craft room" is in my bedroom, and my dining area, LOL. So, there is not a lot of space for too much at a time. And I manage to still make a big mess! You did a great job organizing, and I know what a relief it was to have it done. Makes life no much less stressful!
Wow! This is amazing and will be very helpful 😊 Appreciate you taking the time to share your organization skills. It is so difficult because there are so many (mini) categories for this hobby/craft/art. I am so pleased to hear things are better. Totally understand having to take a step back. Although it appears the organizing was a big undertaking. Your channel has been a comfort for me during some challenging times. Take comfort in knowing we are therefore you during your challenging time ❤
Loved your video. It feels so good when you get things organised. Pity I don’t do more of it. Glad to see you again and that things are looking up for you and your loved one. Take care. Cheers Robyn ❤
Still sending hugs 🫂 to you all and get well wishes to your family member 💐😊! Just post when you are able to - Family First❣️❣️ And isn't it a marvellous feeling when you've had a huge sort out and you know that you'll be able to find things easily as you go forward!?! 👌❣️😃
Sending all the good wishes for your family member, and your whole family. We'll be here (and we'll re-watch older videos, to keep the algorithm happy)
I’ve had something going on in my life too. Following along with your organizing has helped me feel like I’m staying connected to my hobby without actually having to be creative. Hugs.
I went and saw the captains quarters and it is so amazing in person!! I could’ve started at it for hours!!! I can’t wait to see your next project there!
The sorting bin is a great idea. We have that for our legos; we call it the Shell Pile and it’s a large bin that you throw weird pieces in when you’re sorting.
EVERYBODY!!!! We can help Ayra financially during this time by watching her playlists. You can put it on in another room and mute the volume. She's paid by views and ad revenue. Ayra ( spelling?) I'm praying for your family.
Watching the backlist = keeping the almighty algorithm happy = helping Ara (and also, a win; her tutorials are so very good, and her project videos are a delight to watch)
I just love watching you sort, it is inspiring, here is a hint for labels, If you print the labels on copy paper, then place them tape on the printed labels, cut to size, then take a label place in water and rub the paper to remove it from the tape, then tape the label to your item. I am sending good thoughts to you and your family.
I bought a bunch of those divided containers from Harbor Freight and that has really helped with the tiny clutter!! I hope your loved one starts feeling better. I understand being the main caretaker for someone. You're definitely in my prayers.
I feel your pain hehe. Not long ago I was sorting through all of my beads, buttons, ribbons, decorations, and so on, so on. It took me 2 weeks or something like that. Also Now I feel guilty because soon you'll have another thing to put into that box with medium things 😅 Any way, it was cool to watch how everything is going to proper place 😊 By the way - I'm wishing you and your family tones of health. I hope everything will be ok!
I once had a second bedroom. I now have a craft room instead. Thank you for your continued inspiration to be creative...even if you're just putting together a more efficient space to work in.
Health and strength to you and your family. Storage and organization is my nemesis. Constantly evolving as art and craft grows and evolves, miniatures have been the most difficult with its varied tools, supplies, and objects. Thanks for sharing
I definitely think that is one of the hard parts about organizing minis... you need every craft supply/tool in the real world so you can recreate it in mini! It's very hard to store and keep straight!
Maybe some thin clear acrylic dividers in the larger tubs to keep the medium stuff more organized. I imagine this would be something you could design and cut on your laser cutter 😊
I've been keeping you in my thoughts, hugs to you. So happy to hear things seem to be going up. Take all the time that you need. Seeing you organize all of your stuff made me think back of the organizing of my stuff I did last year and realize that I do not have as much as I thought I had. :} ps Yes to a bin challenge.
Storage bins make all the difference in the world in miniature making and overall in your home. I am needing to do some organizing myself. A while ago I purchased a tackle or jewelry bin too for my buttons and it has made it so easy to see what I have when crafting and sewing.
Videos like these are great to put on while I work on tedious miniature stuff of my own, like having a friend to work beside. Also, sorry to hear about your family member's health situation. Don't feel like you owe us videos, your life is more important. All the same, I look forward to your videos, so whenever you do put them out, I'll watch them
I just found your channel. I love to create from recycling. You are very creative and talented. I love your channel and now I'm watching all of your videos. Just wanted to say thank you. I appreciate you greatly.
Ara, I will be praying for you and your family. The videos can wait, those of us who love what you do will be here when you are ready and able. On another note, I LOVE this video. I lost my temporary (we are building a new house) craft room (tornado), but fortunately most of my things were in storage. I have a new craft room in a 10 x 20 shed and am about to start loading it up and I want to really organize it as I bring things in. This helped me so much with thinking about categories and how to sort things. And thank you for the organizing list!
That's a great idea!! Christmas ornaments are usually about the size I would consider a 'medium miniature'. I will keep my eyes open closer to that season!
many thanks for this video, i belong to quite a few miniature groups on facebook, and newbies are always asking about storage. it seemed like a long answer to a short question! now i can just refer them to this video. i have been recommending your channel a lot for other topics also, you've taught me so much, many thanks for that also.
Oh good! I am so glad. It will really help to start an organization process at the beginning of collecting if possible. Thank you for sharing my channel!
I have been working on reorganizing my craft room, and I had an old nail polish carrying case (like the embroidery case but for nail polish bottles). I was about to donate it when I remembered your video! I needed a few larger spaces, so i used tin snips to cut a few dividers. It's perfect! I'm also using a photo storage box with multiple 4x6 cases in it for other kits that I have. So excited about it! Thank you!
We were both going through our miniature collections. There was another time we both talked about foamboard, and another week, we talked about the same kind of things. Our minds must be on the same track. Praying for whatever your family is going through. 🙏 ❤
I hope everything is okay! Take all the time you need. Thanks for another great video! I’m inspired to organize my small miniature collection using the divided organizers, and I absolutely love the IKEA organizers within the scrapbook organizer…great idea!
I have had to put all my mins into storage along with the rest of my life. I thought when packing the mins that I had a lot, until I watched this, but then I have only been collecting and making for 4 years. So good to see you take care of yourself while looking after your loved one.
I'm glad to hear your family health problem is improving. It was inspirational to watch you sort all that stuff, but it was almost as stress-inducing as sorting/moving actual household contents. Which is what I have to get up the gumption to do at my house. DECISION FATIGUE!! That's why I always get stuck. I've been stuck for a LONG time. Never be stressed by feeling you will lose us if you can't upload regularly. I am subbed to lots of people who are like that, and am always just glad to see them again .
I was caretaker to both my parents in the remaining years. My mom went through metastatic cancer for 4 years. My dad went through so many different medical crises over 14 years that I lost count. They were my best friends and everything I did was out of love. And I know how incredibly emotionally draining it is. We missed your videos, but that just makes us so delighted when you post one. I hope things get better for both of you, you and your family member. I love seeing your collection! I'm not a professional like you, but I have boxes and boxes of stuff. More dolls than I can use. More food and accessories. More toys and decorations. And I still love collecting them. Miniatures are just so much fun. So seeing that your collection is much bigger than mine actually makes me feel a little sane. The Toy Story project is going to be a lot of fun. I collected those little Disney mini brands last year. I got two little boxes full of toys. And that's just part of my collection. You give me ideas of a Toy Story of my own. Peace and love and creativity to you! Know that when you post another video, I'll be among the first watching it.
I did almost this exact style of organizing! I even have the broken furniture bin and a 1/6th and smaller than 1/12th bins. It is sooo helpful. I used to spend so much time looking for things and now I can just find things so quickly. In 2022, after my mom passed; I had to go help my dad clean up his house and mini's had to take a back seat. I hope your family member is doing better and the treatments continue to work.
Great minds think alike ;) I am so sorry for your loss, have you been able to get back into minis recently? Taking care of our families always comes first!
What would Marie Kondo make of us, I wonder. She is obviously NOT a miniaturist. I am thinking of doing a similar project, albeit with way less stuff. Right now I have all my little stuff in a huge bin called "Accoutrements." Furniture in another that says (wait for it) "Furniture." Pretty vague, eh? But still you have inspired me. Love that label maker. I'm gonna get me one a those for sure. I hope your family health issues are resolved soon and that you all are healthy and happy then.
I feel like I recently heard a rumor that Marie Kondo has changed some of her extreme thoughts on getting rid of things lol! Maybe she'll be a miniaturist at some point ;) collect it all!😄
This has been brilliant Ara, not only for sorting your stuff out but it really helped my poor overwhelmed brain process just how I can organize my own hoardings that are getting out of control and disorganized. I just could not for the life of me, figure out a way to make it work. But watching this makes so much sense for me so thank you so much, this has been amazingly helpful. Now I just need a bunch of organizers to pack it all away in!
I admit I miss seeing your videos. But understand fully family comes first. I hope n pray all is going well. We will all be here welcoming you back with open arms when your able to make content. Know your loved admired n missed.
❤❤ Thank you Kelly! That really means a lot to me!!

Family first always; we understand. Hoping you and your family are better soon. I will have to watch your older videos to get my miniature fix! 😊😊
Missed you! Don’t forget to take care of YOU during all this-I am a caregiver as well, so my thoughts and prayers are with you 💗
I've been reorganizing my
home for THREE YEARS!!
I am in the FINAL months
of knowing EVERYTHING
I own!! Great job, Ara! ☺️
I thought That was the reason for the hoody "I'm warding off a chill & don't wanna get sick too❤" Not "I didn't take a shower 😂!"
Thank you! 🤗
So wish me luck! Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia ❤
Clue! I would love to see a Cluedo Mansion. I always build them in the Sims, so a Clue/Cluedo dollshouse would be AMAZING
Yes, I love the idea of a create a scene from random bins challenge.
Dear Ara, I envy you for your many dollhouse accessories, but also for the sorting and packaging. That's why my favorite box is the "sorting" one. I would have packed (thrown) everything into a big box a long time ago. respect for your patience. 😊😊😁😁😁😁
Good job!!!!! Take care. Family first.🥰💚🖤💚
In case no one knew yet.... Ara is the secret keeper of the Room of Requirement....
Lol, it feels like it sometimes!
Loved this video TFS. Organization is my happy place 😊. No worries about videos. Family always comes first.
How fun that you won some big boxes of minis to go through! Happy sorting ;) I am happy to be back when I can too😊
Thoughts and prayers goingoutto youand your family, Ayra. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
BTW...you are a very pretty lady without the makeup.🙂
Love the "cross my fingers to remind me (of a task)" made me LOL. Thanks for being real and sharing ❤️
I did the exact same organizing in January. I found so many items and architectural pieces I forgot I had, and now I’m inspired to create some room boxes. Feels so good to be organized!
I am so excited for the Toy Store project!

Wow! Glad to see u back! Glad you're able to take care of your family! Prayers and blessings!! Any videos u put out is very interesting long or short. Thanks.
So glad to see you back, you were missed. Prayers still heading your way for you and your family.😊
Thank you Karen! I appreciate that❤
Sending my thoughts and prayers for you, Ara, and your family member ))))))🙏🏽 💛 I loved seeing your miniature collection, and what a task to organize all of it.
Thank you so much for your kind words❤❤ And the white behind the label is a great idea. It is hard to read them!
What an enormous task! I was tired just watching you! But it has inspired me to keep going with my own sorting, and also gave me some direction on how to organize better, both in the end, and during the process. Thank you!
What a feat! Bravo.
Organising is so satisfying once it’s done but can be hard work. Well done you did a great job!
Very nicely done, Ara. I hope your family member has a quick recovery now their treatment is kicking in. ❤
Being a caregiver is scary and exhausting. Please also remember how important self care is
Holy jealous of your collection. 😜😍
Well done, Ara. Epic task sorted! Great feeling when it's done

It was a huge undertaking but it was a great one that I could just drop and take care of my family member when needed. Thank you so much Liz❤
Organizing does take forever. I enjoyed seeing you do it. You continue in my thoughts and prayers.
I like the sorting bin idea
I love to organize.
Loved your video. It feels so good when you get things organised. Pity I don’t do more of it. Glad to see you again and that things are looking up for you and your loved one. Take care. Cheers Robyn ❤
Woohoo, you DID it!!❤❤❤ That took some serious perseverance to accomplish. Congratulations🥳

Excellent. Thank you. I’ve been collecting for several months…thank you for bin tips.
Job well done, this could help me get everything organized in my studio.
this is a thing of beauty. a true work of art. you have my eternal respect for all that organizing
You are an inspiration thank you for the motivation 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I missed your videos but I really pray you and your family are doing well ❤

What a huge endeavor!!
Your approach can be applied to more than just miniatures (not me feeling guilty about my bathroom closet!)😂
🎉your rugs are lovely 🎉

27:01 I had memories of the big dog and other things that Phoebe brought to help fill Monica's dollhouse on Friends--the proportions. 😀
You did an awesome job of organizing.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌹
Speedy recovery to your loved one!
I've been keeping you in my thoughts, hugs to you. So happy to hear things seem to be going up. Take all the time that you need.
Seeing you organize all of your stuff made me think back of the organizing of my stuff I did last year and realize that I do not have as much as I thought I had. :}
ps Yes to a bin challenge.
Wow wow that is a lot of dolls furniture you have. It does look a lot neater but wow that was a lot of sorting. Bet your glad you have done that now.
Love this video so much! Sorting is my therapy/happy place when other stuff is going on.
You and your family are in out thoughts and prayers. Please don't overtax yourself by too much sorting and caretaking. Do fun things, too. 🙂

Oh oh this reminds me that I have to start doing this too. 🫣
This video was helpful and made the process real, it takes time 🍀💚💚💚
A most satisfying video 😊
I just found your channel. I love to create from recycling. You are very creative and talented. I love your channel and now I'm watching all of your videos. Just wanted to say thank you. I appreciate you greatly.
Missed seeing u. This last few weeks. So happy u back. Hope u and your family are well.
You have a very organized mind & know how to put it into action. I wish I did. Amazing video as always.
I am so glad it will be helpful for you in your new space! Yay! Thank you for the prayers❤
Wonderful! You did so well!
Whew, this sure was a lot of work! If you need more storage for large or medium sized items bins for Christmas ornaments might be an option.
That's a great idea!! Christmas ornaments are usually about the size I would consider a 'medium miniature'. I will keep my eyes open closer to that season!
This is what I definitely need to do! My miniatures need some major organizing 😂💐
It felt wonderful after it was done!!
🎉i hope whoever is poorly gets better real soon hun .dont forgot to loom after yourself 🎉
many thanks for this video, i belong to quite a few miniature groups on facebook, and newbies are always asking about storage. it seemed like a long answer to a short question! now i can just refer them to this video. i have been recommending your channel a lot for other topics also, you've taught me so much, many thanks for that also.
Great minds thing alike lol! I have your sorting video on my watch list! ;) I can't wait to see what's in your collection!
sending love and best wishes to you and your family!
I hope everything is okay! Take all the time you need. Thanks for another great video! I’m inspired to organize my small miniature collection using the divided organizers, and I absolutely love the IKEA organizers within the scrapbook organizer…great idea!
We love you Ara, and you take what time you need, and Im so sorry for your situation. Ill be tuned in when you do post.
This is close to the way that I organize my miniatures.
LOLOL Miniature Roulette 🤣 DO EET!
😄😄😊
Family first ALWAYS, but remember to take care of yourself too! Hugs for hope and health to your loved one.
Know that when you post another video, I'll be among the first watching it.
welcome back! miss the videos alot
I am so very glad to hear that it was helpful!!
