I like to do this with all kinds of baked foods! My favorite is steeping Constant Comment tea in milk to make spiced muffins 👌 Fun fact: if you’re super lazy like me you can cold-brew your tea by leaving it in the fridge for 6+ hours, so you don’t have to babysit boiling milk on the stove. SOOO much easier

emmakatenotcake - I figured it would be, but if so, that’s pretty awful. Over 50g of sugar per slice? That’s more than 10 teaspoons of sugar per slice!
Given that the recommended healthy intake of sugar is 6 teaspoons a day (for adult women)... one slice of cake would be almost double my entire daily sugar intake limit.
I’m all for treating myself to a delicious dessert, but I don’t need that much sugar in one hit thanks 😅

Remember not all of that figure is processed sugar. The berries would be in that figure, too.
