Shoutout to the videography during the cake-decorating segment! Love to see the detail with the piping and then a wide shot of you admiring your creation. That's exactly how it feels to bake!
please do more of that cake-decorating video break segment!!! that was SO COOL and i was honestly in awe. i don't know how this is even possible but the quality of the videos have improved since i started watching. how do u even improve perfection??
Oh that looks so good. I wasn't aware of there being actual recipes for reduced sizes. I usually spent time math-ing out the reduced amounts so I can have cake myself. These are the best single person living at home recipes I never knew existed but now need in my life. Thanks!
You have no idea how happy I am to hear that!! No more splitting a recipe and debating whether to use one egg or two when the full recipe calls for 3 because I don't wanna deal with half a leftover egg... I also have a series on single serving meals I think you might like!
My favorite tea in a single serving cake?! YES, PLEASE!!!!! I’m so glad the algorithm placed this channel into my feed. I subbed and am binging on this mini cake series while waiting for my flight - thank you so much!
I always use cake strips! They're terrific! You can also use two strips, one above the other, for deep cakes. I do that with cakes baked in a tube pan.
I'm so happy you uploaded the video, I'd been waiting since you share the picture of the cake. Right after watching I went out and got a sieve and a 14cm diameter mould!! 💖
I love the small Fat Daddio pan, but I (currently) only have the 6” pan - I guess I’ll just have to try it and see if that will work! This looks delicious!
This looks amazing! I will definitely try it out sometime. Also thanks for all the explanations why we should or shouldn't do certain things when baking, I learn a lot from your videos. 😀😀
Need to make this as earl grey is one of my favorite flavors. Would you be able to make the Chinese bakery birthday cake with chestnut filling? It’s my sister’s favorite cake ever and I really want to make it for her bday!!
What a lovely cake! I know that you pass the milk mixture through a sieve so there aren't any tea leaves from that step...I can't seem to see where you incorporate the earl grey tea leaves into the batter? I noticed the final batter does have those specks. Did you add some more tea leaves with the dry ingredients?
I didn't add more tea to the batter! The specks are created by grounding up the dried tea leaves so after steeping and straining there are still tea leaves remaining in the milk tea that gets added to the batter as you can see in 0:49😊
Hi Jasma, I made this today, taste is good, texture so soft, but it doesn't rise tall maybe it because i used 12cm pan, I don't have 4 inch pan (i already order in online shop😊). Thank you Jasma ❤
Do you take requests? Would you be able to create a recipe for a mini earl grey cheese tart? I tried one recently & it was divine but I cannot find a similar recipe for it.
Most likely yes! You can also remove the water bath once the cake batter has set and then bake until the cake browns (this might speed things up a tiny bit)
Me too! I developed this recipe so that there's a little extra to keep in the fridge for the next day or two. Not sure if it would be worth it, even for me, to spend so long on a cake just for it to be gone instantly😅
@@JasmaFusionCuisine Would definitely love to savor this cake. I will be trying to make this. What's better than drinking Earl Grey? Eating Earl Grey. You're amazing. Keep up the good work.

I just make this recipe. But my crumbs doesnt come out like yours. It very dense and taste bitter, i guess it came from the baking soda/powder. Anyone made this recipe? can anyone help me where i got it wrong?
Thanks for the reply. They are not expired. Could it be my oven? I’m using a convection oven with fan on. What oven do u recommend? Also, what size egg are u using?

I love Earl Grey, I've had macaroons, crepes, mousse, and milk tea made from it, haven't tried cake yet, thanks again for another great recipe video.
Oh my goodness i love smaller cakes with the though of one person in mind!!

Will do!
That cake looks so cute! Hope live it going well for you 😊
Its been a while since I saw your mooncakes videos when you were younger. I always like your videos and these cakes are so cute and great flavors.

Aaah such a nice little cake ! I never had an earl grey cake, I need to try that now!
hope you like it!!
好開心陪你整Mini Earl Gray Cake
Just discovered your youtube channel. The production quality is really beautiful! Will definitely make this soon !!
welcome!!!
Can i use earl grey tea bag instead of the leaves?
This looks amazing! I will definitely try it out sometime. Also thanks for all the explanations why we should or shouldn't do certain things when baking, I learn a lot from your videos. 😀😀
I do it so good thank for recipes
It's so stinkin cute! 🎂
Looks so cute & delicious!
Thankyou once I grt the same pan as you I will try 😊
I love the background music and Earl Grey, It was easy to make it keto. My extra konjac in the cream holds a bit better.
Love it! I can’t wait to make it for my birthday. 🥰🥰🥰

@@JasmaFusionCuisine at the end of the year!
Can I change to jasmine tea ?
what piping tip did u use? anyway, great baking vid!
Bold to assume I need a smaller cake 😤😆 This looks delicious tho!!
Omg...the cake so cute, gorgeous, delicious. Hi...can we use earl grey tea bag? Thank you..
you won't have the extra strong flavour the specks of tea adds to the cake but you sure can!
@@JasmaFusionCuisine Thank you so much.

@@JasmaFusionCuisine oh right mb! Didn’t realise the tea was so finely ground that some was still left over in the milk mixture. Thanks for replying!
Looks amazing. I’ll attempt it, of course, but even though I am a decent cook, I can’t bake to save my life 😂😂. Beautiful work, Jasma! 🎉🎉🎉
you got this💪💪
好正,見到都想食
OmG, soooo cute, may I substitute oil with melted butter? Thank you for sharing Jasma❤,
you can! the butter will just solidify in the fridge so the texture of the cake will harden slightly compared to using oil
@@JasmaFusionCuisine thank you for replying.

can’t wait to try making this 🫶
Yum
would it be work if i doubled or tripled the recipe?
can i use a bigger cake pan to prevent doming?
Can you use a plant based milk as a substitute ?
sure can!
Looks great :) If baking in a water bath how long should we expect it to take?
add about 10 more minutes and keep testing with a tooth pick!
What are those mini leaves you used for decorating? Do you have a link for that? It’s so pretty!
it's fresh rosemary!!
Can we bake this same amount in 4 inch diameter and 2 inch height cake tin
you can! just be careful that the batter doesn't overflow
If I make this cake for one 8 inch round pan, doubling all ingredients will do it? Or someone suggestion for it?
Do you take requests? Would you be able to create a recipe for a mini earl grey cheese tart? I tried one recently & it was divine but I cannot find a similar recipe for it.
hmmm ive never had a cheese tart before where did you try yours?
@@JasmaFusionCuisine I tried it at an Uncle Tetsu store. I think it’s basically a tart with earl grey cheesecake filling?
Using the waterbath should 1h be long enough?
Most likely yes! You can also remove the water bath once the cake batter has set and then bake until the cake browns (this might speed things up a tiny bit)
Such a cute cake but that's still too much for me to eat in one sitting. Earl Grey is actually my favorite tea.

Hi jasma. I followed ur recipe to the t but still did not get the same height dat u hv. Any reasons why n how to correct this?
if the cake didn't rise enough then it may have to do with your leavening agents, make sure they're not expired!
Thanks for the reply. They are not expired. Could it be my oven? I’m using a convection oven with fan on. What oven do u recommend? Also, what size egg are u using?
I like your chanel
doubling this recipe because I'm -fat- gonna share
never change.
