I highly recommend this tour company. Dan was pleasant, responsive, and helpful. Our cruise line kept changing our hotel and with each change Dan responded quickly so I didn’t have to stress. Five of us booked a private tour to Snellenfas (spelling?). The tour guide was knowledgeable and an excellent driver. Excellent value. I can’t wait to visit Iceland again.
I’m going to Iceland for 2.5 days next month for my birthday and I’m thinking about doing the golden circle tour and northern lights tour day 1 and then day 2 the snowmobiling and ice cave tour. I’m so excited
Last June 2024 in ICELAND for the first time - So wonderful nature. My love of ICELAND for the first sight. I had bouth Fish chips for taste: It smells and tastes like sundried small shrimps from Thailand, really 🙂 Therefore we (My thai freinds from Bangkok and I from Stockholm) will surely be there again. Thank you for sharing a good tips and trip. 👍 😇 Best Wishes from STOCKHOLM -SWEDEN 🌲🌲🌲⛄⛄
Hey guys, another great video, thanks! I have a question about the amazingly fun topic of utility bills. In Sweden our highest utility bill is for heating the house in the winter, whereas in my wife's home country of Vietnam the highest utility bill is for cooling down the house with AC in summer. What's the highest utility bill for most Icelanders? You can heat your houses cheaply through the thermal hotspring water, electricity is cheap thanks to how much renewable energy you're creating, water can't be too expensive on an island with so much naturally warm water... so, what's the most expensive utility for the typical Icelandic household?
Noticed access to South-East areas of Iceland is blocked off. We are visiting in three weeks. Do we have to change our plan ? Also it seems we do not need to pack trekking poles for hiking in February?
Parts of the highlands are only open in summer! no way around that for safety reasons, trekking poles might be nice if you plan on doing much hiking yes - but I would say crampons and sturdy walking shoes are a bigger must have ☺️
Hi Dan I hope you are doing well and it’s good to see you again

Great information as always! Where in Reykjavik would you recommend when looking for souvenirs?
I liked Rainbow Street Souvenirs in downtown Reykjavik.

No waterfalls?
There's still plenty of time before the plane leaves to see Seljalandfoss.
