I ordered one of these.
My only complaint is that on the "86" message, the noise is really distorted and hard to listen to at the start of the jingle.
Yes, if you turn the volume down, it's nice and clean, but I wanted to mount this in my glovebox to be super clean.
I ended up edited the audio file in Audacity to cut the bass, reduce the levels during the jingle, and amplified the voice. It's awesome.

The Sprintex is prone to heat soak. Try the ft86club forums if you haven't already; there's plenty of informations from owners. The Sprintex isn't exactly the best kit though, unfortunately.
