What a stunning pen. The wood and the ebonite is a great combination. I would not ever eyedropper fill this pen. Nice size, weight, and impeccable style.
What a lovely pen I will definitely be going into the giveaway. As it is I can only afford 2 x TWSBI Eco's for Christmas how awesome would it be to get this too! Separate question - why would anyone want to do reverse writing? I see it tested in lots of reviews.
not sure why anyone would do except for line variation in writing, ... i use fountain pens for drawing and often use reverse to get very fine detail work... i don't know if it tests the feed? maybe??
It's like two pens in one, as the reverse invariably produces a noticeably narrow line. I also find it handy for drawing, or when occasionally confronted with the need to write REALLY tiny.
I like the idea of having a pen that forces you to slow down your writing to get the most out of it, it's something I'm struggling to do while learning writing with a fountain but progress is happening, I'll have to check Rods work out. I'm loving the focus on Aussie made things lately and seeing what we have locally, from the Karst limestone notebooks and now this pen I'm going to turn my focus on homegrown for a while. Keep up the great videos, they're appreciated.
Thanks mate, I appreciate you organising this giveaway. How can we place an order for Roncari Pens? Perhaps I am missing something - There is no obvious website that I can see and no ordering information on IG either. He may very well receive more business if ordering was obvious/easier.
@@theoffstageme Thank you for replying, I appreciate it. If Rod has asked you for any feedback - my two cents would be that he might receive more business if he had a website (I noticed similar comments on IG too). Although I could be wrong of course
@ I definitely don’t disagree with you on that point, and I’ve had similar conversations with many small independent makers. I suppose a lot of it is where it tips from being a hobby to being a business, and how many orders someone wants/needs to get… or is capable of filling.,
@@theoffstageme you are absolutely correct. Indeed he may not want more orders than he currently gets. I did not realise it was a hobby. Thanks again for everything, mate.
I have a Waterman le Man 100 briar wood fountain pen which I paid $650 for in Brisbane back in 1993, wood pens are risky so only use soluble blue ink but extremely worth it. For what it's worth his pricing is genuinely reasonable especially internationally. Would love to see people here in the UK exposed to this line.

Ron's workmanship on this pen is incredible. Thanks for showing us!
One of the most gorgeous finishes I've ever seen in a custom fountain pen!
A wonderful pen! The finish is exquisite!
Goodness that really is a stunner. Beautiful finish, nice proportions and, importantly for me, a nice long section.
Wonderful finish and beautiful classic design with gentle white line´s detail. :)
Wow, what a beautiful pen.
That is a really stunning pen.the white accents are a nice touch!
This pen is stunning! Clearly, Ron is a Master craftman.

Beautiful pen
Stunning looking and really light for its size and hand made too. I think Roncari Pens is going to have a bright future.

Magnificent craftsmanship 🎉
Such a beautiful pen! Will keep an eye on Roncari. Thanks.
That is a beautiful pen, almost reminds me of an "Grease", or Elvis era musical instrument.

I have wished for a wooden pen for a long time. This is phenomenal ! I don't have Instagram but would love to enter! Thank you!

Does it matter that if our IG name is completely different from our YT name? Btw, in your description you seem to have mispelled your IG name.
