She should be canonized as a saint, catholic or not. This woman gave her life to the lords will 100%, went through tremendous pain, and was always serving people in need.

Excellent movie, but why did they have a white guy, Orson Wells, do the voice of Frederick Douglass when there were so many excellent black actors they could have gotten, James Earl Jones or Sidney Poitier for example.
This movie shows that inhuman treatment was/ is not just about colour. It's done by men and women who are too low to empathize with other human beings. Sad 😢.
At age 52 I had to rewatch this movie. Cicely Tyson did an outstanding job portraying my favorite heroine the amazing H. Tubman.
