If Mattel can do such an amazing job in this T Rex for Hammond Collection, imagine what they can do for a Spinosaurus, Carnotaurus, Giganotosaurus and of course The Indominus Rex. That would be awesome to see in the Hammond Collection since the original Destroy and Devour Indominus Rex from Mattel is hard to find and the prices on the aftermarket and online shopping apps are ridicously way too expensive to buy.
What? The DnD Indominus is literally warming the shelves at every Target. I don't know what you're talking about how it's hard to find. Unless you're talking about the very first Dino Rivals one in the box, or the extreme damage one that had a pretty short shelf life, then yeah. But the actual figure itself isn't some after market rarity.
I find a bunch of indominus rexes at my target. I’m not to sure how rare they are at Walmart and toys r us ( in Canada ) but for me they aren’t rare at all.
I bought my indominus online. The solution for everything.
Lies, the destroy and devour are at target both in store and online. The extreme damage Indominus Rex is no longer in store and harder to find. Though you can get him online for a decent price so he ain't that rare.

The first thing I noticed on the Hammond collection Rex is… THE PAINTED DUE CLAW!!!!! No wayyy!!! Mattel fr*cking did it!!!! Congratulations Mattel 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 ok but seriously Mattel, please keep this up
I think for the dinosaurs, they should also come with accessories. Like for the gallimimus it comes with a log, with the trike, it comes with " that's one big pile of ****", and the rex can get a gate or a dead gallimimus. A gallimimus that's stiff and can't articulate it or you can articulate it but only stays in a dead position.
They're all possible except but the big pile should have come with the ceratosaurus as well

It's crazy how inexpensive these are! When I got Ian I thought he would be like $20-25 but it's only $13. And the big dinos are only $20!

I hope we get Hammond collection figures for the dominion dinosaurs like the giga, the therizino, the atroceraptors, and the baby dinos
I think we'll start to see those once the mainline Dominion figures have left the shelves
i doubt it because this is for the jurassic park era yk but they could make way more money if they do the giga, Spinosaurus, and more awesome dinos!
The T-Rex was listed as being available at Target starting June 26th, now it’s listed as not sold at stores. WTF?
I’ve been checking daily at 8 am online, says not sold in stores and out of stock online always. Irritating
You can clearly see where the budget on the mainline went! And I don't mind! I LOVE THIS HAMMOND COLLECTION. I hope this continues to deliver after the last wave is out. I would really like the brachi, therizinosaurus and bumpy or atrociraptors
Just got mine yesterday, it blows all of the Previous rexes out of the water and Mattel did a fantastic job with everything on this figure, I didn't open it from its packaging cause it looks too beautiful to open, but this figure defines A kids dream toy come true

I'm looking forward to getting my Tyrannosaurus rex here soon. Hoping they'll also do a buck rex in the future, as well as a JP3 male Velociraptor, a Spinosaurus, maybe even a sauropod. That would be CRAZY!

So my Gali was... weird.
I got it right from Mattel but the cap on the tail that joins the rubber tail to the hard plastic ball joint wasn't glued at all, meaning it popped right off. Nice if you wanted to do a "Gali got its tail bit off) but not if you want to pose it. So I glued that in place only to find that the hard plastic that is supposed to lock the tail into place into the body was warped inward, meaning the tail would never lock it!
Again, easy fix with a bit of super glue but still odd.
I really hope they continue this with the bigger carnivores, like spinosaurus, indominus rex, therizinosaurus, giganotosaurus, etc.

A masterpiece imo, the only things that bug me are the feet size and the bottom jaw seems a tad short, giving her a slight overbite "fteven"😆.
Those aside, this is the best Rexy we have gotten so far.
They did an amazing job with this rex. The best of all time so far. Can't wait for this toy

Yeah! The scalpers on Amazon have caused the price to increase drastically.
I hope Mattel plans on making enough trexs for everybody and it doesn't end up going the way of the amber collection dilophosaurus being made in small numbers and skyrocketing in aftermarket prices
I hope a Hammond Collection Spinosaurus comes out, because the only Spinosaurus mold released is almost smaller than the Thrash n' Devour Rex.
Well I gotta say while the figure is amazing, and now that I got my hands on one. I don't like the glass eyes you can only see the pupil from certain angles and I am not a fan of it.

This figure is great I saw the review on a different channel which is the first person I saw to review this T. rex figure and unbox it and it looks really sick and great I’m going to be able to order it on the 26 so I’ll instantly order it when it’s available so this will for sure be my best T. rex figure that can articulate and move very good and looking forward to making stop motion with it and might get two if possible to have one custom painted

That Rex is gorgeous. I just wish the paint job for the Para, the Baryonyx, and the Galli could've been better blended. Like, the colours and where they stop just feel so stark. And then you look at the Rex and the raptor and .. they just look so realistic for the blending that they've done on the paint job. .. I would LOVE the atrociraptors in this style!
I hope Rexy will be available on shelves and not sold out all the time once order ship to stores.

I think we can all agree that this is the best Trex Mattel has ever released, I have the 1st Extreme Damage Trex because it was the only fully articulated Trex at the time but lacks length to the tail and paint doesn't reach there. Also the Extreme Damage sculpt is the smallest Trex in the line and this Hammond Collection seems to be the biggest. I'm positive I'll get this some day in the future.
I got mine today and the QC is bad, mine is missing a pupil and the back is cracked open.

It's crazy to say that 30 years later I'm still not sure if this new Rex looks better than the original kenner toy. Still an amazing figure, and I really can't wait until they make a Spino
Great review, the T - Rex figure looks awesome and so does the Alan grant figure, imagine Mattel do with the other dinosaurs like Spinosaurus, indominus rex and brachiosaurus and other characters like Sarah Harding, nick van Owen and even Robert tempo 👍

I do think the gallimimus should be a bit taller and the rex should have a bigger chin, but other than that. I LOVE THEM.

The eyes bother me on the Rex. You have to move the head at a certain position in order to see the eyes. But I think the eyes are articulated. Maybe.
As an owner of one the eyes aren't articulated but they do look much better in person than shown here on camera
Are the tails on the rex and gallimimus a one time assembly or can you still take them off after attaching them to the bodies?

The Hammond Collection T-Rex would be much better with especially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter would be enough).
I so will want Mattel would also do in Hammond Collection :
-Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex with especially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/2 or 1/3 shorter than the head), and the exact location of the scars : those on the right, on the muzzle, and those on the left especially at the level of the shoulder;
-Jurassic Park 3 female Velociraptor based directly on the AMBER COLLECTION JP3 male Velociraptor where it is enough to change the colors and remove the thorns or the proto feathers located on the head, and especially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/2 or 1/3 shorter than the head);
-Spinosaurus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, the bigger sail, and the feet not so big.
I hope there’s going to be buck, doe and jr trex figures

She looks pretty good but all i can say is the stripes kinda bother me on the back of the figure but either way it's still good. She's impossible to get though lol so i just sticked with my legacy collection one.
