Ya wanna know what would have been a much better alternative to that scene in the books? Squirrelflight sighed in relief as she saw her kits right behind her, stepping out onto the tree bridge she looked up ahead of her, ready to save her adopted children and get herself to safety in the process. Her eyes met a pair of cold blue ones, filled with hatred and pain Ashfur stepped out onto the bridge blocking their way and her fur bristled with anxieties. The rage she saw lead her to one conclusion alone and before he could even get a word out she barreled into him, knocking him back off of the bridge and onto the warm grass. She pinned him and barked a single command to her children. "Get across the bridge now!" She couldnt stay up for long as he wrestled her to the ground instead and turned to face her kits once more, love and fury filled her heart and she leapt onto his back, this time the two rolled into the blazing camp, terrified shrieks from her kittens and the Tom filled her ears as he desperately tried to get away. However she bit down into his fur, his salty blood filling her mouth as she kept a firm grip. Smoke filled her nose and made her eyes water but she fought through it, keeping that grip on the Tom until he stopped squirming, smoke filled his lungs as well and he lay unconscious upon the ground. A triumphant yowl sounded from her lips before she too collapsed onto the hard dirt, the vision of her horrified kittens filled her mind once last time and she smiled, she knew they were safe and she had earned her place amongst the stars... Sorry for the horrible writing just the scene filled my brain and so I put it down as an alternative I know this isnt really the place for that but I like getting my ideas down before they run away from me.

+Spira - Assfur's entire "fling" already is completely nonsensical and sums up to a 2 week dating session in Uni/College where the girl already wasn't that into him since he was super basic. Honestly though Assfur, it's not as though Squirrelflight *faked* being a parent to The Three for all that time. She's still their mother. His whole plan is stupid though. Heck, just giving them a little nudge into the fire will totally work even whilst you must avoid being dragged in there with them, one is carrying a 12-pack, the other is an excellent fighter, (one is basically a spaghetti strainer but oh well) and whilst Squirrelflight is weak, she'd also put up a fight. It wouldn’t have made that much of an impact? If you wanted revenge that badly, you’d kill Brambleclaw. Either way you’re killing someone. But, nope. He just ran away. +Spira - Assfur's entire "fling" already is completely nonsensical and sums up to a 2 week dating session in Uni/College where the girl already wasn't that into him since he was super basic. Honestly though Assfur, it's not as though Squirrelflight *faked* being a parent to The Three for all that time. She's still their mother.
His whole plan is stupid though. Heck, just giving them a little nudge into the fire will totally work even whilst you must avoid being dragged in there with them, one is carrying a 12-pack, the other is an excellent fighter, (one is basically a spaghetti strainer but oh well) and whilst Squirrelflight is weak, she'd also put up a fight. Great Planning skills dude.

Yeah, in the Last Hope Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw were devastated when Hollyleaf died. She was still their daughter (and Lionblaze and Jayfeather were still their sons). Them not being their biological parents doesn’t affect how much they love them.
