Hey mate first time viewer, just wanted to mention if you haven't thought of it but fit the taps and tails while the bath is off then just connect up once the bath is in, saved doing it all from under side of bath
@@MJTiffPlumbing Awesome. Couple of questions mate, first off what's your preferred [personally] adhesive to use to fix down a shower tray? S&C, CT1, tile adhesive, etc, etc Secondly, customer has mega build up of black sludge-like mould above water level in concealed cistern and constantly in the tip of shower head and taps, even after having a new bathroom installed (years ago) I thought it might be a combination of normal build up from not wiping down properly but the contained cistern in a vanity unit has MEGA build up, so perhaps lack of an extractor in the bathroom? What you think
Amazing finish, perfect Sunday night watch.... I diy’d my bathroom to an average standard and can really appreciate the expertise it took to get that standard of finish.. Class. Props to the customer for understanding the tiling issue wasn’t any fault of yours ....
Just happened to find this video in my recommendations you have done a fantastic job on this bathroom, the finished work you can see of a higher standard and quality in your work, just by looking at the clean lines of how this bathroom has turned out, well done 👏 even if this video is a year old...
Great work there buddy. Brilliant workmanship as always. Just shown the missus and she's just asked me why can't i make our bathroom look like that. Looks like I've got some work to do lol. Add it to the list of to do's
I just found your channel, is really nice. Just wanted to say, I have the same Makita radio for 9 years 😄 they are really good. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽✌️
Class installation. 👏 Would have liked to seen the tiler at work as well. Interested to see a video sometime on how you price these types of jobs, level of contingency added in in case of unforeseen problems, i.e. knackered floor. Really enjoyed watching this. Keep it going. 👍
Thanks mate..... I was chasing my tail on another job when the tiler was on this one so could’ve get any content. The issue with the floor was an extra as it wasn’t known about..... however due to the mess up with the tiles I didn’t charge her for redoing the floors. Good will gestures go along way I’ve found 😉
Really good and informative videos and surprisingly relaxing! I like how you’ve done the silicone bead around the tray and then you do it again after putting the tiles down. Is this called tanking in the industry?
Not sure why the area under the bathtub is the one that is ALWAYS gets forgotten when it comes to tiling and making everything WATERPROOF! blessed DITRA MAT!
Masses of work that I previously thought would be done in two days . Real eye-opener . Calm approach and well explained . Great job and would have appreciated some idea of costs ; ball park figure even . Lovely finish everywhere , thanks.

I moved in to my house 25 years ago plaster boarded the whole bathroom tiled and fitted bath and shower cubicle just taken out for revamp no damp still spot on not all about materials just doing the job right
Looks bang on needs resealing everywhere proper rough . Finishing touches are the most important. Good work though. Few things I'd do slightly differently but each to there own. Overall very good mate
Very nice job Mark, I must admit it’s a nice feeling to see a job like that finished, doing my own in a couple of weeks, not looking forward to the disruption.
We had the same problem, the floor was all rotted through in our bathroom near the sink and the joists were gone too. The plumber fitted a new floor and joists with an extra cost but he didn't use waterproof plasterboard on the shower compartment like he said he would. We literally had a full on site meeting about that and exactly them issues were noted, so she is getting one of those round free standing ones, with the 2 different type mirrors... one close up one and a normal one.... if you know what I mean. She liked the clean none busy look of how it is..... then touches are a personal taste.👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks for the kind words about hiring me... appreciate that buddy. Thankyou. At 39.03 you show the isolator for the cistern at the bottom of the cabinet. The back board behind the pan would be fixed in so it would be very difficult to reach right down through the removable front board to switch off the water!! I always bring the cold feed up so the isolator can be accessed easily especially for the customer who might need to do that when you are not available. Bathroom looks superb.
hi Mark .. great watch as usual . just a comment on those roxy .low level shower trays . a few yrs back me mate fitted one of those and a few weeks after fitting ant tiling he got a call out the tray was leaking down tru celing . so post hast he headed down there and first thing done tested the waste out let .and it was good . water getting out no prob . so hees kneeling there baffled and after a while the mom .on site came up stairs with a cuppa .and asked how he was getting on .and he told her that he was a little non plussed . so she tells him that when the leak occured it was after he youngest son who was then about nine had a shower and he had a habit of stantding with his heel on the shower out let . ohh la la yep the water filled the low level tray real quick and water flowed out under the shower door . no overflow on a showr . lol . problem solved . anyway i neve understand why people go the expense of fitting a great shower and then also fit a roxy bath . no sense in that . why like to lol back and soak for hours . get in get showered and get to uck out i say .ll
Awesome job. Good use of the landing putting that shower in. Love the units. There my favourite ones with the basin and top all in one. Only thing I do different is bring my rad pipes out of the wall.
Hi Andy, I've got one of these, does the job gor what i need...the bar isnt for cord storage, the little bumpers are so you can use the handle from the other side, you have it upside down...tirn it over and you'll see what i mean 👍
