An extra note: 'Bambook' is actually the name of a very well known TF2 trader, who the scammer (who changes form more times than the creature from The Thing) is impersonating. That's something I should've made much clearer in the video - but to clarify here - the actual trader Bambook - this guy ( steamcommunity.com/id/bambook_wb ) is extremely reputable trader - the scammer is just impersonating him (badly, for that matter).

they are heartless, i think in order for someone to do that have to have some kind of a mental problem
the problem with scammers is they either cannot separate what they're doing from fantasy or they have a sense of entitlement/superiority about the whole thing like 'well i got scammed so I'm gonna scam that money from others back' which quickly turns to 'well I'm just getting stupid people, they'll learn from the whole thing so i'm basically teaching them a life lesson so they dont get really scammed, im a good guy'

I like to mess with scammers sometimes. What gets me is when I call them out a lot of them get defensive. "I can't believe you think I'm trying to scam you" and "I hate scammers, I would never do that to someone" lol
it is wild seeing a scammer this inept tho, when I got scammed for my FN ST desolate space the dude was my friend for over 2 years and we got to MGE together before he pushed me for a trust trade when i was blitzed at a pub for a mates 21st

I did a few trust trades with a dude i knew for (then) 2/3 weeks
Traded my gloves for his gloves and later my knife for his knife (to switch our inventory up a bit)
eventhough mine were worth more than his, he traded both back, one of my best cs friends now

One time i was playing csgo surf and this guy had a knife (butterfly phase 1 or something..) and he unboxed it and had no clue its cost. Some guy on the server knew quite a bit about knifes and told him how much the knife was worth. 10/10 reaction.

when i was 13 i was scammed for my usp-s kill confirmed ($40aud at the time) which i used my birthday money and a couple other skins for a gut knife doppler. i couldnt sleep the night before as i was so excited to get a knife. Little did i know i was about to be middle man scammed by a very very convincing steam item authenticator.

When I get the link scammers where you have to log into a fake steam page to “claim your prize” I have a paste bored that I use in the password slot that’s just a bunch of derogatory terms from Russia, India, and a hand full of other countries. Sometimes you actually get a reaction.
