I hope that in the future you will not give scammers free lessons on how to scam better. Just leaving them with something along the lines of "you're so obvious LAWL" and having them waste brain cycles to figure it out themselves without any guidance might be the more environment-friendly thing to do.

I recently got scammed for 100 $ of rust skins. I mostly trusted the guy because he had a lvl 100 steam account and he was also in a server I was playing on. If I had just watched this video a day ago I might have saved what I lost. I thank you for making these videos I am sure you have stopped a lot of people who are unaware of these kind of scams.

I kind of scammed a collector. Its valves fault though. My item was a 1 in 10 and mostly worth what he paid me and then valve released something that made more of that item which caused it to drop from 600 usd to around 10 usd

I almost got scammed when i first started playing yearsss ago. Gave the guy a small sob story and told him about myself and he ended up coming out and telling me he was a scammer. Thanked him for being honest and left with a life lesson. Only let Gaben scam me

I got scammed in the last week of 2020 just to end the year on a high note. Honestly I was just naive and stupid and if I had watched a video like this I wouldnt have been scammed. Also Valve doesnt do shit about this which makes me really mad. I and 5 of my friends reported him I sent the whole chat as well and In the chat it was „confirmed“ he didnt pay me and he still isnt trade banned. They just come to you with the copypasta response „wE cAnNoT dUpLicAtE sKiNs SorRy bRo“

I stopped playing csgo a little after the gambling crack down, when scammers where everywhere. I came back about 4 months ago, and bought some decent play skins and a knife, totaling about $400 usd. Within 3 days, I had about 30 spam friend requests and 20 comments on a screen shot. How has scamming become such a big issue again?
How are people falling for these now? I rarely heard of anyone getting scammed back in the day when I quit, now it seems like I meet a person that’s been scammed every 2 or 3 comp games.

the scammers i get always go for the screenshots lol, i have about a 3,000$ TF2 inventory, and i try to build it more, and theres atleast 1 or 2 people a day who comment on the SAME screenshot asking "hello, i need to message you, i accidentally reported your account" and its always the same thing lol, fun to just mess around with them at that point, they always say the same exact thing and comment on the same screenshot lmao
