Depends what the quote is. Some quotes can be very inspirational. For example something like _'don't eat animals, have tofu instead'_ always inspires me to dry wretch and then immediately have a steak or a chop upon recovery. And there's nothing that inspires you to have a beer more than some crusty old quote about sobriety.

He's hiding out, and he sees a spider building a web, he destroys the web. Spider starts building it back. Now I heard that as a kid, but were the fuck in Scotland are you going to find a spider. I was there 10 years and didn't see one. I was in Australia for 10 minutes, "hey mate, come away from that thing". Jurys out but I believe that is where the quote originated.
