"Neurotic, bad for me; psychotic, bad for you". Bloody brilliant.
"Where does a sheep even begin?!" Most insightful line I have ever heard.
At conception.
Insightful? Ever heard? Are you sure?
They're all blurry around the edges....vaugest creature ever. I'm in tears
" I did not run, I just wasn't there anymore" this is poetry.
I'm sorry but I think I just found a cure for depression. Hanging out in a field playing with sheep then having a sandwich sounds lovely.
Make sure ya cut off the crusts!
@1&only ant-i-christ The Welsh have always been a strange sort anyway...
It works!
It did wonders for St. Patrick!
He's so much more.
Tommy has the most authentic Irish voice on the world stage I think, his witticisms and the way he articulates his experiences around the place in Ireland always make me laugh hard as it’s so true when you think about it. Brings me way back to my rural Irish roots. Thanks Tommy.
Check out Dylan Moran if you don’t know him, equally great!
"I didn't run...I just...wasn't there anymore!"😂😂😂
Sigmund Freud said that Irish people are impervious to psychoanalysis is it is useless to even try.
I am Irish and where I am from we welcome anyone that is a bit eccentric or mad as it breaks the boredom of normal life. I could tell you a million stories of people in my area.
Here is one for example
A fella who drinks in out pub got a heart attack one day at home. He tried to ring a few a few people but no one answered so he drove himself to the hospital but he went down the coast road as he had no tax and insurance on the car and he wanted to avoid the cops 😂😂😂
Off he drove clutching his chest. Lol
Omg. Somewhere in Laois?
@@scamwitness6594 Yes, a coast road, in Laois
@Aisling Hayes Classic insult adopted as badge of pride.
If only there was some sort of van that rushed to your house and collects you when you ring emergency services
@@user-oo8wt3hr1t You'd be quicker driving especially living in certain areas
'I'm not good by meself or with people' -pretty much sums up being an Irishman.
Father Ted quote.
It’s the same being a Highlander!
That must be why I talk to myself to keep myself sane,I pretend someone's listening... So I go the extra mile and answer myself!!😉🤣☘️👍
Sooooo that's where I get it from, my wee great -grandmammy pure Irish. (A Dillon in America) 😜
I don't like sheep, they're too fookin vague" - Tommy Tiernan
Honestly, best description
One of the best lines/observations ever... I live in a small town with lots of farms and sheep everywhere and they really are vague LMAO 😆
Is that a Mr.bean avatar 😂😂
@@KingEire yes, I'm a Beanatar 🤓

"We'd need a half time after Ramadan!"🤣❤🙏🏾🇮🇪🍀
Fuckin wish!
5:43 ... need a half time during Ramadan, so we would
Best thing about this guy. He could be a comedian booked for the gig. Could also be some crazy irishman who got onto the stage somehow and started ranting.
If you weren't familiar with his work there'd be no way to be sure.
DiabolicalGenius I’m very familiar with his body of work, and I’m still not sure.
By his own admission , hes both. (its his opening line)
Fuckin truth right there lmao xD
Hi , You are so right.Light and Love Along your path and Laughter.
Yup. Hes like Billy Connolly's crazy Irish cousin.
"You think you have it bad, wait'll you see this fella!! Roll the tape!!" 😆😆😆
"Now for the weather! It's gonna be pissin' rain!!" 🤣
So glad Tommy's finally getting noticed. He really is the most brilliant one out there.
Are you serious. Tommy was noticed ages ago.
Seriously? He's been pulling big crowds for two decades. Best of all was when he went understated in Derry Girls.
Irish Michael Mcintyre
@Paul Henry Kelly I recently discovered him, I'm in Las Vegas USA. I only wish I found him sooner, he is one of few that make me actually laugh out when watching him.
What on God's earth are you talking about "finally getting noticed"?
He's been hammering it for over two decades. The whole world knows who he is.
"finally getting noticed"
😂😂😂😂
Did the whole set yelling his ass off, absolute legend
Saint Patrick’s day in the middle of lent 😂😂
Sweet Jaysus, when u see it written down it really hits home! Never underestimate the written word!
Now you see, we figured out we could declare St Patrick's Day to be the one type of day that overrides lent, but only for the Irish
Neurotic bad for me, psychosis bad for you 🤣🤣
That delivery is killer!
Drop the snap
Psychotic
As a psychologist, the borderline stuff is GOLD
As somebody with borderline, I was losing my shit. "Not okay alone... or with people"
@@junehatter8479 spot-on!
It’s funny but inaccurate af, it’s an old outdated and currently unused definition. I’m borderline and it doesn’t help the stigma.
Such an accurate description of BPD 👌
I personally appreciated how he was able to put a comical spin on it.. BPD can be exhausting and at times embarrassing but this video was refreshing, very clever.
@@amberlance3221 I hear you. The Irish know instinctively the 'medical model' approach to mental health care is lacking.
"So I let a few roars out of me." Completely logical reaction to the circumstances.
The dental equivalent of a comb cover 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I saw him a few years ago in Belfast on the night the new Pope was elected. He was hilarious. I'll never forget his description of the introduction of the new Pope. "One old bewildered looking gentleman introducing another old bewildered looking gentleman " i still smile when I think of it.
"I just wasn't there anymore" I've been laughing for an hour
I like how he can always have you vividly imagining he’s story’s.
Irish humour at it's finest. Got me laughing all the day long.
him and Dylan Moran are batshit and i love it. best kind of humour
he is on Derry girls tv series, the funniest part is that his character hardly talks in the series
Love his character. That grandad never gives him a fecking break. Love the show.
I'm going to take that as a recommendation, starting series one right now
He has his own talk show on rte 1 in Ireland. He doesn't know who the guest is until they come out. He's actually a very insiteful & deep person. An excellent listener. Definitely recommend it.
I love that show.
@@OneDayOrDayOne_117 😊 cant wait for season 3
He's like an Irish Robin Williams.
Yesssss
High praise!
But this guy is funny. Robin Williams isn't funny. Lol. For real though.
With all his own material
I dunno now, he's great but we've much better. He's just super well known for some reason
Pure Celtic genius we knew we weren’t going to make it forty days
LOL - Love Tommy. He's just untamed and on the edge.
*”I don’t like sheep...their too vague!* 😂😂😂
Haven't seen him in years so this was a great treat. He's so under rated.
Someone tell 80's Billy Connolly we've found his lunatic Irish brother.
Billy is Scottish, though........
@@ambermartin3961 I think he knows that.
🤣🤣🤣
@Patrick Ancona maybe the one person who can actually pull it off, which is just one something in itself he is doing.
Anyway he is way more manic and dealing with his own madness to think about it
How the hell does he come up with his jokes like with other stand ups there is a bit of a formula but with Tommy anything could come out of his mouth
The hand motion that goes with the "big, false eyelashes" just cracks me up😂
'' the dental equivalent of a comb over''- class🤣
I have Borderline Personality Disorder. The description is so accurate I’m cracking up 🤣🤣
Now THAT is a performance.
I love love love this man. NO one can make me laugh like he can.
This makes me feel so much better about myself. Also, I may move to Ireland. I might fit in more over there lol
I am, just waiting to sell the farm in Australia and I 'm off to the west coast of Ireland, cool, misty and no snakes. And best people in the world, all us lunatics!

I need to visit Ireland, i would get along with the peeps there.
Yeah
This guy is just another lad down the pub in Ireland you’d love it .
Unlike Tommy, who does not get along with the sheeps there
Captured Irish people on the edge perfectly.
Got to love to listen to the Irish talk !!
Roll the Tape ... Look.... It will be pissing rain all week .. LMFAO omg..
Was in Ireland once, brilliant weird people there, loved it . Need to get back
Love you Tommy ! From one lunatic,to another.A great life to you,and many more laughs than tears!
Tommy at his usual best ..🤣🤣✨☘️💚 mad as a bag of cats
Only the Irish take the piss out of ourselves 🤣🤣🤣brillant tommy 💚💚
" Now the weather, it piss and rain all week " 😆😅😀😂
He really funny, love his accent! Could listen to him talk all day. Cheers!😃
Sheep jokes killed me. 😆
The flip side to Dylan Moran's doomy absurd surrealism. Fecking superb.
The never children crying out... Omg LMAO
This guy puts me in mind of what would happen if you combined Dennis Miller with Robin Williams packaged with an Irish accent
Absolutely fecking brilliant tommy tiernan.
Everyting about this makes me feel better about me self.
"Never give a lunatic ,The heel of a loaf of bread"
Peak Tiernan
Omg this gave me the best laugh! I am here from RUclips. What a gem
I lived in Ireland for two years. The only time it didn’t rain was when I went away on fucking holiday!
🤣🤣🤣👍
He gives off Gene Wilder vibes.
His crazy first cousin hehe
If Gene Wilder and Dennis Miller had an Irish baby...
@@thebeav79 Oy! Riiiight!
So true, Gene was always shouting!!
@@thebeav79 that's funny, because Gene wilder actually tried to adopt an Irish child back in the 70s. while making a movie in Ireland, true fact.
The bad dog bit though.... I pissed on his papers. Lmfao.
got to love Tommy!
"How Ireland dealt with lunatics"
They gave them a microphone, threw them on a stage and told them to tell jokes.
R13h D exchange the word stage for pub and you are spot on.
You guys are fantastic! 😂😂😂👌👏
Want to assure that you’re children will grow up and go to therapy for many, many years? Give them an Irish mother.
Canadians seem like a bright, positive and enthusiastic bunch.
IrishBard yeah we are, well most of us, but we got the same exact problems as the US except with 10x less people so it doesnt seem so bad lol
Getting fat, too much drink.
Why, thank you. We try.
I have been following Tommy for years. Just love him.
Celtic Genius... Hahahahahaha
One of the few who are actually funny. He's funny just standing there smiling.😊🐝❤
I've never heard Borderline Personality described so well.
Im Borderline and I laughed till I cried. On point
Yes. All of it. And the only time he gets calm & quiet is when he says: "I. Have. A few. Mental. Health. Issues." Disturbingly identifiable. 👌
Millennial?? He was born in 1970!
I think I'll strive to become that mad in every day life, guys a genius, love it
The Pringles joke makes me laugh and hate myself at the same time. Thanks, Tommy, I really needed to feel that before God took me off this feckin' Earth.
A nickname given to me from a friend when I was a teenager (46 years ago) was Pringles.
@@Germatti13489 what was the source of it

I saw him on his World Tour of Leitrim, he's an incredible raconteur.
"pulling meself asunder"
Shakespeare couldn't create a line so poetic.

Yes I agree. Tommy is so so funny as Yes he acts the part so well.
Tommy at his finest!! 👏👏👏
"When you were mad, we'd just tell you to fuck off!"
Best joke of the special, idc
He presents great talk show on rte, asks profound questions and the best part was he doesn't know who's walking out - surprise guests.some ppl he recognises, some are obscure but have great stories to. It's like eavesdropping in a bar on hols
I didn't run, I just wasn't there anymore pmsl
My mate got sheep he loves this story
Well down big man Tommy
Tommy is one of my favourite comedians. If you watch his own TV program, you'll see he is extremely smart and astute. It's weird to see the character he plays in Derry Girls since he's so completely different. And, no, most Irish people don't yell. They're a very quiet people. As an American, I've had to learn to tone down.
No we do yell. We just speak quietly around Americans to shut them up.
Never children of the future...🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
He is absolutely Irish- tells stories like
My family!!!😂😂😂
This is Ireland in 10 minutes
This explains all the mental disorders in my family! We're Irish and I love it!
That fresh ass sense of STYLE!!
Basically i not good alone, or with people! Lol
The elderly couple in front weren't having it 😂
What a legend!
when life gets to be too much, i come to tommy tiernan for wisdom.
Never have i been so afraid of someone so funny lol
Love this fella.
Papa Quinn going OFF XD
He makes me want to go to Ireland where my people are from. I love him. Never give a lunatic the heel of a bread. He'll take the eyes out of your head! roflmao
My favourite line was “God bless ye, Montreal!”
Me: “hang on, he did this stuff in CANADA?!” 🤣
