Improvised "Ian knot" Technique -- Easiest Way to Learn How to Tie Your Shoe!

I learned this easy way from another video on RUclips, and felt like video instructions could be more clear for children. It really is the easiest technique to learn, and is only one step! My son learned in less than 5 minutes after getting the first knot down.

Thank you for this video! Not only is making sure to not block the view with your hands helpful, as well as not doing it too quickly, but also having the laces a very different color from the shoe itself helps so much! I've been searching so many shoelace-tying videos to find helpful ones, and there were several involving black or grey laces in black or grey shoes. This is one method we have not tried yet, and I think it will work. Our previous method involved putting the aglets into the first shoelace hole to begin, and our new shoes don't have big enough holes for that. Finding this 3rd method is fantastic!
