Thank you very much for this video Colton!!! My 9 year old son was very frustrated at not being able to tie his own shoelaces, we had tears and tantrums. After showing him your very polite and informative video he managed to do it first time. And the next 10 times on each foot straight after. Your parents must be very proud of you and rightly so. Sending good vibes from Cornwall UK.

My 8 year old is autistic and has a hard time with fine motor skills so tying shoes was a nono for him. We always bought velcro shoes but tomorrow he starts soccer class and I won’t be there to help him. I told him that we needed to practice tying the cleats and he tried a lot until he got sad and frustrated… we tried different methods and videos… and nothing. He (and me) was afraid of what his friends would say tomorrow but I searched best trick to tie shoes and your video came on and we watched together and learned with just one try!! Thank you so much! He said mom that kid saved my life! He cried happy tears and jump and celebrated! Thank you for helping us and giving me some piece of mind and giving him that confidence he desperately needed.

I will be completely honest, my son is the same age as yours, and yes I realize this video is five years old, I don’t know why we struggled for so many years with laces, I always bought shoes without laces.

Although we have a hard time with untying them as they are double knotted, but we will figure something out.

Thank you thank you thank you. We had already made it to age eight and my son was still struggling with tying his shoes. I watched this video, tried it myself, took a shoe in and showed my son once and on his first try he got it with repeatable results! He is now official! Thanks to you, we have broken through a major milestone in his life. New Sub!

Thank you! My son is 7 and I've tried every other method I've found and he can't keep track with what is where and where it goes. He mastered this second try!
