Great vid! FYI, I raised my aerobar pads by cutting 2 pieces of 1 inch white pvc by 1 inch long then heated it and made it kind of oblong instead of perfectly round. I then took the elbow rests off and ran the bolt through the pvc and now I am a million times more comfortable and I use the aerobars more and with less neck pain. The elbow support rests on the pvc. Also I can experiment with different heights if I want cause I basically costs nothing to cut more pieces. Just a friendly FYI.
I have the REI version of that camp chair, used it backpacking, full ultralight setup and then that chair lol. It's so nice after a long day to slide into a comfy chair rather than a sitting pad.
Just subbed very good video always good to see how other people pack and good to see you got good gear few things I would change but that the Beaty of Bikepacking over time you will learn what good for you …
@@backofthegravelpack yeah every trip always learn something new .. after 7 years of Bikepacking I can say I am 99% happy with setup .. the secret is after getting all the gear on the bike still have 5 liters of space … now that’s hard .. also pack in section ie each bag is a subject never mix and match
I try to run my cables just a bit shorter or longer than most folks to help with that, but otherwise, nothing special. I've only had one bike that I had any issues with it, and a little longer cables did the trick.
@@backofthegravelpack Do your cables exit prematurely to go behind or in front of the Sweetroll’s straps? I bought the harness and my cables exit directly into the rubber spacer block. I’m trying to figure out a solution. I’m considering the Salsa Anything Cradle to mitigate the cables bending and head tube rubbing, but dislike the idea of having weight further in front of the bars.
Great video, I'm amazed how much gear you fitted in the bags. Thank you.
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome, thanks for the tip!

For sure, I have the REI version of it as well, and use it when weight isn't as much of a concern. Great chair for the $!
I have the same all-city GM bike, I like the set up , greetings from Australia.
Very cool!
Super nice bike. I like the revelate setup. I really have to go with waterproof gear. Cool video. Just subbed.
Thanks @Traveling Thru Looks like you came right through my area of Kansas earlier this year, looking forward to working through your videos.

Thanks for the sub! I seem to change something in my setup every trip I take, so I'm sure my kit will continue to evolve.

Jealous of that bike man, she’s a beaut!!
Thanks much appreciated!
How do you mount your Sweetroll without crushing your shift/brake handlebar cables as they exit from under the tape?

Do you still have the GM? or did you replace it with the surly?
I did end up selling it. It was just a bit small for me. I'd probably buy another one if I could find the right size for the right price.
