Thanks for putting a face to this shop Russ. I've ordered from them in the past but didn't know who was behind it and dig this expansion. Retail is hard, and these guys are trying to be pretty inclusive for types of dirt tourers - nice to see. Needless-to-say, I'd make time to stop in if I were passing through Tuscon thanks to this video. Keep up the great variety in content here.
This is exciting! I bought an Extrawheel trailer and a few other items from these guys before this rebranding and will seek them out in the future. Heck, I work for an airline so I'll look into flying out there and using the upcoming tour support. Sharing to my fb page too. Cheers!
Great video. I'm in Tucson and didn't know about the bike shop expansion, I'll have to check them out this week. Not sure how long you're in Tucson but we have great riding out here. Yesterday's rain settled the dust so happy trails.
Yep...I missed this gem! Such a cool shop...gadgets galore! Kind of like a mini REI, but without the sterile chilly/snobby feeling...a plus in anybody's book. Definitely going to check out their stuff online. However, I do remember the Lael Wilcox forum/community gathering held there from one of her video sources. Thanks Russ...a year later. Wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't for the link on Patreon. Will definitely tune in THIS Sunday. :)
Can he recommend rear triangle bags for surly big fat dummy, preferably ones available in U.K. as I’m wanting to fit it as a world tour winter bike packing set up, in U.K. plenty of photos of these bags but no suppliers
Campfire Cycling 🌵. Time to ride & hike a bike from Prescott and drop some $ at this shop . Thanks . I sleep eat & breathe ,bike packing. Happy Trails.
Very cool store. I wish you were in Canada. The Vargo stuff is all great and you should use 95% Ethanol which you can get in marine stores. It burns much hotter and so is faster although it costs more than Methanol.
This is a great shop! I’ve been traveling the USA for the last 6months and had my bike stolen in Austin. I found Camp Fire Cycling online and purchased the Bombtrack Beyond 1. Josh and his team are top notch and their community is worth the visit to Tucson. #🏕 🔥 🚲 Great find!!!!
@@mellissanash7517 I have the beyond 1. Didn't like the handling until I fitted a shorter stem, which made a huge difference. Prior to the shorter stem it felt like it oversteer. I perhaps bought a size too big, which may have been a factor.
@@mellissanash7517 think it was 12cm and I fitted an 8cm stem. It completely transformed the handling for me. I love the bike so much I cannot see a time when I would sell it. I think I should have bought a medium in retrospect, I seem to fit between sizes. Anyway, it was a small change that made it into the perfect bike for me and eradicated the steering issue. I'd recommend a test ride before buying.
This is awesome. I live in Estonia, in entire country its impossible to find 90% of stuff available in that shop. All we have are mountain bikes (in an almost flat country) and road bikes. Packing gear is rare and massively overpriced.

I just bought some bags from here, super nice people and awesome service. If you're reading this, thanks Greg.
Holy crap! This is basically my dream bike shop. I'll have to visit when I cross the border into the USA! 🏕
How long that's going to take though? Lol
@@thehairs1970 No more than two months.
@@Cyclingabout Does that mean a new video is on its way soon? I am hooked on your madness!
@@thehairs1970 I'm 50% of the way through the edit... this video should be a cool little documentary! 👌🏼
Someday, i will be there, and buy bike accessories. I'm from Philippines, and 2 years from now, our family will be migrating to USA
Nice to see something in Tucson other than a tattoo parlor or bar. If I still lived there I'd definitely stop by.
Love how they display their bikes on the type of surface you would use them on. Very creative.
Holy moly that’s the best bike shop I have ever seen !!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍
Love this shop series

just placed an order from them! glad to support a cool shop
Great bike shop. I wish more shops would have this level of bikepacking options.
Great job by these guys in picking a focus and going all in. Looks like a place I would hang out if I lived in the area.
I love that you visited Josh!

What a bike shop! Everything you need for a complete bike packing experience. Incredible!!
I'm an online customer of Campfire Cycling. Hope I can visit the shop some day.
Can't wait to stop in when I visit Tucson this year.
Great job! Shop series = Excellent! Campfire Cycling = WOW! Thanks!!!

Great place and great guys I buy all my stuff here
I miss Tucson very much. Use to live on the east side near DM for about 10 years.
Thank u for the introduction. I will check out their website. Ride on🚴♂️
Loved the video and inside look. I live in Asheville and nothing like that here. I'll look the shop up online for my next purchases!!
All they need are shop pets.... then it's the perfect bike shop.
I bought my first revelate bag from them six years ago when they were the bag bike shop online.
Heyl yeah, bought my framepack from them online. Nice to see the evolution of their brick and morty.
Definitely making this shop a day trip next time I visit Phoenix.
So very happy you did this store tour! Very interested in getting into bike packing and this will be a resource and supplier! Thanks

Man, what an awesome bike shop!
Really loving this series of bike shop visits!
really nice way to support local bike shops - also nice window shopping 👍
Tucson is great winter biking

I've only seen these as custom. You might be able to adapt a small frame bag like a Revelate Designs Ripio or a Oveja Negra Super Wedgie.
Campfire Cycling 🌵. Time to ride & hike a bike from Prescott and drop some $ at this shop . Thanks . I sleep eat & breathe ,bike packing. Happy Trails.
They’re one of the few places in the US that sells Carradice bags. Good stuff and good service.
Awesome shop....when Im in the area I WILL stop by. Going to check out the website....thanks for showing us the shop...so cool !
Woohoo!!! Tucson!
I have to head to Tucson! Must have a great bike packing scene
I don't even bikepack but any video from PLP is always a treat :), Saludos!
This is so Cool! Yes! Yes! Yes!
Looks so cool
Great tour thankyou
What a cool shop and owner!
Great video again Russ.

What an Awesome shop. I want go there.
Awesome store! I wish there was store like that bear where I live. 👍☮️🌞🚲

That was an awesome shop. We need something like this in Houston!
What an amazing shop!
I just bought a Surley front rack from them it's great.
Wow what an awesome shop. Own a Bombtrack Beyond, they are indeed a great bikepacking bike. Nice vid.

You have the regular or the Beyond+?
Funny. I live in Tucson and haven't been to Campfire yet.
I live in Phoenix and never heard of this place. I'll have to visit for sure!
It's right off the 10, pretty easy to get to. Check out Transit Cycles and Blue Dog while you're down there, all awesome shops for touring.
Wow! So cool!!!
Oh man, I knew this video would happen eventually; well done!
I'm going to go there on my big tour.
If I could hunt down my old friend Mark Campbell I would truck on down there and hit the shop. Mark. Holler at ya boy Dave from Waco days
Is that a mic or a dropper post? Digging da content 👏🏽
Again great video Russ:-) !!!

We hope a shipping will be possible to europe asap. silent jealousy :D
Russ, You’re 5’8”. You’re not short. 😁
Tell that to people that design bikes and clothing.
Bill Maidment - Try telling that to the ladies on Tinder.
Path Less Pedaled I’m 5’ 7-1/2” and I don’t find it hard to find a good fit. I’m not tall but wouldn’t consider myself short.
Bill Maidment good for you then.
Path Less Pedaled I’m sorry. I didn’t mean upset you. Keep up the fine work you’re doing.

Hi Justin, I was referring to renting bicycles, bike bags and camping gear. Your Cycle Lodge sounds like a cool concept!
Am I in heaven?:D
