My cousin gave me one and it was working when I brought it home. I cleaned the roller wheel. I cleaned the filter. I cleaned a little arms, put it back together and now it won’t run and no lights are lighting up.
I have this same unit. It seems to have lost it's ability to continue if it hits an obstacle straight on. When it contacts an obstacle straight on, it pauses for a few seconds, (still running) then it backs up and runs normally until it comes in contact with another obstacle straight on. That's not the way it use to work. Before, if it came in contact with any object front or sides, it would immediately turn or back up then continue. Can you help me?
Hi i have this same model my issue is when charging the blue lights never stop blinking i think on my app is only always 90%charge what's the issue with that?
Hi Smitty have you heard about error #2 for the shark iq? Even after roller housing cleaned, new roller inserted and side brushes replaced...still get that dreaded error #2. Thanks
My battery light flashes when on base, then goes black. The unit doesn't charge at all. Doesn't even attempt to charge. Connection light is on, on the base, power light is on, on the base and I cleaned all sensors and connecting places to the base. We replace battery with Amazon battery with no change. So we returned it. Any advice?
Hey Smitty, subscribed and liked a bunch of your videos. Your 37 minute shark tear down vid enabled me to remove my (hard to turn / throwing a no 2 error) side brush motor. No foreign debris inside gear housing, just 50% harder to turn than the other side. BUT now I’m having trouble on where to buy parts or get a parts number list? No numbers on the piece either. One Amazon seller has a left motor but then I need a right one and finding a parts source is harder than the tear down! Whadya suggest? It’s a AV2511AE / bottom says AV251WAOUS . Thx!
The motors are interchangeable , right side and left are the same they turn opposite because of how they are mounted. Make sure it's not the gears first. If the motor is hard to turn its the motor but if the gears make it hard good chance its the housing.
@@SmittysWorld Gears lubed and good condition, with gears out, motor shaft does turn but with slight resistance but I’ll have to compare to feel of new one. I actually broke down and just ordered a different kind (to rob motor out of housing) just to get it on the way as I had dropped the motor out of the housing easily and it looked like the same generic motor offered (also returnable). So sounds like direction of the bevel on the gears and polarity don’t matter then left to right. Wish there was a parts list or good supplier. Not buying another of these unless it’s from Costco next time. 53 weeks old and threw the code! Thx for quick reply & info!

I’m still getting this error message after cleaning out the filter, brushes, dust bin, and removing the screen and blowing it out. Any suggestions?
open it up and inspect the suction motor if you have no air loving on the side when it starts motor could be bad,

I tried to supply parts for a while and ebay really killed it had so many people scam me out of working good parts
