❤ good real life dynamic. Thank you so much. Wish you did more réalité reviews like these! Really brings out the intangibles of tests in a practical situation. You guys were amazing 🎉

Thanks for the video. This was use of the robot in an extreme situation. Typically all of these vacuum robots are used to maintain cleanliness and not for deep cleaning. But it was good to see how the Shark responded when under pressure. I don't understand why Shark has such a loud brush. The App is absolutely horrible. Took me 2 days just to get it to link with Google Home. Seems like Shark rushed the App to market. Now they have some serious updating to do

I just picked this up for 299 on Amazon. It’s charging now I’m gonna let it do the first run later today.

I'm awaiting delivery of mine. I purchased it Amazon renewed for $199. I have an older version that doesn't use lidar technology and I love it, but I'm looking forward to trying this one out. I actually like mine to vacuum under my sofa, it's not stuck, it's just cleaning extremely well.

@@boompowzap I'm looking to get the same renewed version. Didn't really want to jump in with the higher new prices on tech I've never tried before, but your real world review of a similar house hold (we have 2 dogs that shed heavily with a mix of carpet and hard surface floors) so we are just looking to maintain the the shedding in between deep cleans we do. Thanks for the video! Great work!

I would recommend vacuuming the entire house first before you use it because it wont clog that easy.

Great video! Thanks. Thinking of buying the second gen Shark Self empty. I've had a few robo vacs in the past and they all got stuck either around certain pieces of furniture or got stuck on 2 different thresholds where it would get stuck on these and kept trying to move but it couldn't. Was wondering if you think this vac would get stuck like that.

Great video. I just bought a townhouse with laminate flooring downstairs and carpeting upstairs. I'm in the market for one of these but was also considering one that does mopping too. Have you ever used one that also mops? Six months later are you still enjoying this unit?

OK so I am just watching this after using mine a couple of times today. I just did everything you guys did with the opening up, and setting up with the app. I have a shark vacuum, and I have had it for a very long time. I love it so much because it works extremely well, and also all the parts are very simple and easy to remove so that you can clean them. When I say clean, I mean I have long hair. I immediately anticipated that I would also need to clean the parts of my New AI robot frequently. I was just more concerned about how well it actually vacuumed compared to the actual shark. In my place, it seemed to do really really well the first couple of times

Did you try the scheduling? Didn't work here. How can you tell if shark knows correct date and time?

Watching, I have other Sharks that clean their own rollers. The trick is keep it spinning. There are cutters in the path of the rollers that will destroy the hair. I have this AI still in the box for review. I currently have a Samsung JetBot with no self empty. I’m hopeful this will do. My Vertex will clear the hair.

Also with that much hair set the self empty to 30 minutes. Maybe the J7+ was a better choice, with all the pets. Also make the rooms on the map.

@@boompowzap I’ll watch tonight. I have that and the new cordless stick version. I have too many vacuums and my apartment is a mess. Ran my JetBot today for what may be it’s last run. I need to set up at my AI XL.

I have the same model, makes that flapping sound while cleaning. I’ve had multiple other robot vacs that are less noisy. Is normal for Shark robot vacs?

The stronger suction power, the louder the motor produces.
2000pa to 2500pa usually consider quiet.

Just a little when it slides up on the charger, but not while it’s vacuuming. It’s a little different sound when it’s scanning a new room.
