@@ericmichel3857 It depends on your definition of cinematographer. People like to use that word frivolously nowadays. For real working cinematographers in NYC, commercial work pays the most while feature films were a nice steady income stream. But regardless of which, most of my work put me at $1K to 2K per day with 18-22 working days a month. I owned two 5-Ton lighting trucks that paid the bills too. With the money earned, I did do some investment into dividend stocks, ETH and BTC pretty early as well.
That explains the quality if the vids, but IMO one of your strongest assets is your voice!
Literally my favourite car even if money wasn't a factor. Great production value here, some channels with millions of subs could take a few tips from you 👍

I took my tts out to my local spot and took away 3red place overall. Picking up a ttrs and will be finishing the season with it as my normal autocross car is down for upgrades.

This is one of the best looking car review videos I've seen in a while. Can't wait for the next one.
It'll out perform a C7 GS on a track all if you know its limits and a man has got to know his limitatons. Stock it out accelerates all vetts except he C7 Z06 and ZR, and the R8 4.2. With 520 bhp/425 tq it should give a R8 V10+ a run for the money upto 75 mph. I've seem a 2017 TTrs with 650 bhp out run a stock 720S McLaren upto 90 mph.
In its price class it is about 7-10k overpriced however.
400 hp is not much these days. Soon (5-7 yrs) though it'll be alot again.
I disagree. A stock C7 GS can pull 1.2 lateral G's with Cup 2 tires. You are not getting close to that in a TTRS, its tires are not nearly wide enough and you would need a LOT more neg. camber.

Subscribed !! Excellent video productions. Have an allocation to trade my wife's TTS on a 19/20 RS. Full APR package shortly thereafter. Will accelerate close to 135 in the quarter (stock turbo E85 stage 2 tune). Bunch of TTRS / RS3's with hybrid turbos getting close to 150.

The TT is a nice car in general but the RS is a whole different monster. Definitely worth some seat time.

The do make a TT RS convertible but it's not available in the U.S. The convertible is sick, looks way better that the hard top

Frank Millers Audi TTRS review.... seriously wear a long a trench coat and a fedora change the style to black and white and anything red should be kept red, then make sure its raining and thundering and start the video with " She shivers in the wind like the last leaf on a dying tree"

RUclips as a platform is not good for this "serious cinematic shots of yourself and your flat voice with acting" be more natural, yeah, the edits are really good, keep up with that, but get rid off this acting poker face appearance, it is totally different from RUclips and it feels so unnatural...
Thanks for the feedback. While I appreciate your suggestion, RUclips is a platform for anyone to express their opinion, creativity, and ideas though the medium of video. I've spent my career behind the camera shooting movies and shows you watch on TV, but now I'm retired and I just want to express my creativity in my own style. This "acting poker face" is my real face, and this "flat voice" is my real voice. I am not trying to act or be unnatural. Would I like to show more emotion in my videos? Sure I would, I'm trying to. And I think I am improving as I continue to do these little videos. But please, just because something is different than people "vlogging" don't write it off as not good for RUclips. As this channel has grown in the last 3 months, I realized that there are a lot of people that seem to enjoy my style of "serious cinematic shots" reviews, my voice, and my persona. At the same time, there will be people who dislike me, and that's fine. Will I make improvements and take feedback? Of course, but I will not change who I am just to fit in with others.

This video was done very well, your editing is top notch. But I can't take your voice seriously haha. You should put a fake mic on your shirt so it sounds like you are talking into a close mic, otherwise, it sounds like clearly a voiceover.
Thanks, this was one of my earlier attempts at a video and I didn't have all my audio equipment in check. But I hope my more recent episodes can pass your sound test.

I just think it's funny to hear your deep voiceover where you are speaking directly into a mic in post-production, then watching the video where the voice wouldn't sound like that if I was standing next to you. Understood, I always appreciate the constructive criticism. I just didn't have the proper audio equipment back then, which is why I needed to do more VO to compensate. I've been actively trying to improve that aspect of my videos though.

Thanks man, I have two mics going at the same time inside the car. And if there's any bad audio, I tend to re-record it later at home to try and match.

Technically it is superb, everyone can see that it is a high-quality production, but while watching it I don't feel it, personally, for me, this is not the way I want content to be presented to me, somehow it is not personal enough. From your video, I did not get the feeling that I can have a beer with you and discuss cars.
I am guessing that you want to be different from other content creators, let's say Doug DeMuro and that is normal. For me your production is superb, but I dont't really feel it.
If you take a look at the savagegeese, Chris Harris, Car Throttle , I think your production is superior, but the way they present appeals more to me. I would say maybe that your soft skills (social) are different. I will definitely subscribe to your channel, but I would love to see your professional edits and video making skills when recording driving scenes, car detail scenes and more "personal" "goofy" "honest" scenes when you are talking, I think those close scens when you want to say something need to be more personal, like you are talking directly to me. It is hard to explain, for example, Doug DeMuro is too "goofy", Car Throttle can sometimes talk too fast. I think Chris Harris does a good job with his script and talking and his body posture. I hope my feedback helps you a bit, this just an opinion from one viewer :)

But yes, I feel like my one weakness is showing more emotion, especially on camera. I'm normally a more stern/stoic type of person and don't talk much, so this whole "in front of the camera" thing is a bit unnatural for me to begin with. I always feel like I have a lot of information I want to say about a car, especially because I'm quite passionate about them, but it's hard to do it once a camera is pointed at you.
Of course I am trying to create my own style of content delivery. If everyone did the same thing, I think it would get pretty boring. I respect Chris Harris the most because he is an actual journalist and former race car driver. I believe I can differ from many other "typical" YT reviewers in the sense that I also spend a lot of time racing my cars on the track. So I come with a more performance-oriented perspective.

It's not a supercar at all

Wow the video production quality amazing!!- the 1950's Film Noire-ish deadpan narration - very cool. I would differ on a couple points- 1> People always compare this to a Cayman S- if you dont opt for the performance pack (Dont need it at all IMO) this car is 74k loaded with everything else. The Cayman S is going to cost you 90k+ as Porsche options EVERYTHING. The Cayman S is a 15-20k more proposition 2> While I too love the Nardo Gray- this car looks best in all black with the silver and black "Food Processor blade" wheels - I will be putting silver mirror caps on mine - but in all black it looks much more menacing and takes a huge edge off of the always bulbous top. But for slicing up the Texas Hill Country- looking great going slow or fast- this is perfect. My wife has an M2 and unless the pavement is perfect- that thing will just beat you up. Its just amped up all the time. If all pavement was perfect- the M2 would be my car- this TT-RS is better on less than perfect pavement. And is economical for a 300 mile trip (Great gas mileage)- more than comfortable enough (M2= TIRE ROAR - they are NOT GT cars and are not supposed to be) while the TT-RS is great long distance driver but then the RS will then blast through canyons like nobodies business and just as well as a Porsche / M2 (Unless your hitting the bends at 120 mph + lol whos doing that?. My only downside is I would like SOME kind of secondary display- NOT a deal breaker cuz my wife and probably your SO is on the phone on InstaFaceTwit while you drive (or napping) but... the hide away screen of the A3 would be perfect here. My second non deal breaking gripe- in giving that this is is a "hybrid" Sports GT car- I think that a sunroof would be right at home here. If your tracking your car- prolly aint this so a sun roof would enhance the GT nature and be really nice. Best Sports car for the money you can buy IMO
Thank you! You're correct, the Porsche can come out to much higher when option'd out. I was just looking at base MSRP numbers for that comparison. I haven't driven an M2 yet, but it's on my list of cars to drive and shoot. I feel like the TTRS would sit between a BMW M2 and M4 in terms of overall competition terms. In the comfort department, I don't have too many comparable experiences, but I do have a C7 Z06 with the magnetic dampers and comfort is slightly better in that car. However, I think it's partly due to the TTRS having those super low profile 20" wheels. The seats in the TTRS on the other hand, are really nice though, I haven't driven anything as nice as those yet.

Yes, this was one of my early attempts and I didn't have proper audio set up so I needed to ADR.
Speaking of Vette GS and Cayman S, you should review the M2 Competition, undercuts their price by a few grand, has similar performance and luxury.
Good to hear from you again Gabriel. Yes I do really want to do an M2 Competition review. I'm sure I can get my hands on one soon. The updated 400HP rating definitely makes it a direct competitor to the Audi TTRS.
I love the looks of the TTRS. It may not be the fastest but its more than fast enough for me.
