Hey, welcome back! I was sad and curious, wondering whatever happened to you after your hiatus a few years back, and all of a sudden, here you are again! We're very glad to have you!
I've driven a lot of VAG Haldex cars over the years, and all of them feel compromised by their very front wheel drive bias. I used to love what Audi where doing, but I now have a 997.2 Carrera 4S and the driving dynamics leave Audi for dead.
Great to get your approval! The new S4, S5 and S7 are great handling cars tough. I think Audi is on a good path with those and I always loved the Golf 7 R's handling too :)
Just ordered a blackout 2021 TT RS, fixed sport suspension, sport exhaust, active spoiler, OLED tail lights. Should be here by February 6th at the latest. STOKKKKKED!! I reckon the overall driving dynamics are better than a Tesla Plaid Model S.
Thanks for this one Guido. Your Reviews are always first class and well worth watching. I always learn much fro:them, helped me in buying my Golf R. Stay safe.
Hey Guido, greetings from Portugal! I would love to see you review cars that people from southern european countries could actually afford! You seem to focus on these great powerful machines, and it would be interesting to see your reactions with more modest cars, that way people that enjoy driving will know what's around that's worth our hard earned cash! You're an excellent reviewer, keep it up! 😉
@@TheGetawayer as a long time subscriber, of course I will stay tuned! 😉

Another nice once Guido ! Thanks. I actually own the previous TTRS plus (360) in manual transmission, this 2019 TTRS is much more beautiful but I'm afraid of having less fun to drive at the end, what do you thing ?
Thatdudeinblue usually has issues with the notifications. I just see the vid in the sub feed. RUclips has this new "personalized" notification system. I turned mine to on now.
@@darrmurpful Thank you. Well there are many ways to get more power from these engines. Not sure if a tune would make the Turbo spool faster to reduce lag though, if thats what you are looking for
In my A3 AWD I can get the back to float around a bit by giving it throttle while turning. Engaging the AWD while turning will do this somewhat. If you start to understeer, lift off throttle a tad till it corrects, then throttle out of the turn
Another fine review from the master of 'Pure German Gasoline Culture'. I have a question though. TTs or TTrs. Which understeers more? I know that they lightened the block on the TTrs.I bought a 2018 Golf R manual based on your recommendation. It's great, but I'm considering one of these TTs.
Thank you David! I never felt a big difference between these latest TTs. But I'm sure you will be surprised how much nicer the Golf R is mid-corner. So be sure to do on a good test drive to see if you can live with it. I'd say most people will be fine
Dragon Sickness they wont. they will cease the production next year in Győr. however we can expect a final edition, but after audis traditions it will have only cosmetic upgrades.
@@k0d4x so is that a yes or no 2021 TT RS? My dealer said they have one inbound to the US. I don't know if he was accurate but he confirmed it was a 2021 TT RS multiple times.
Dragon Sickness he might though on model year, 2021 model year means 2020 production year. At the end of 2021 its 100% sure the production will end, in this context "end" means november, december. My source is accurate, i live near Győr and visited the factory many times.

Thanks for all the nice comments, Arslan! This was filmed in the Odenwald, which has a bavarian part but also touches two other german States, Hessen and Baden Württemberg :)
@@TheGetawayer Thank You for the reply, Guido! I just looked into Heidelberg and it truly is a spectacular town. The rolling hills and the river must make it stunning! There is also a Heidelberg 35kms from where I live but it is nowhere near as scenic, unfortunately :(

on the channel you mostly drive the Germans. I don't think you drove the giulia quadrifoglio for example, is there a special reason for this or is it just more difficult for you to get your hands on other cars? Just curious.
Yes, most import brands from outside of germany have smaller press fleets and focus on german speaking media. I did drive the Guilia and Stelvio at Auto Bild Sportscar and theres still a short german review on YT I believe. - Guido
This is just a hobby for me these days, so not about the money at all if you looked at my fuel bills :) Also: I don't charge the manufactures for my videos like many other car youtubers do. If there is a lack in uploads it's because I don't have time to film or can't get cars, but I do my best :) - Guido
Glad you like the video as an owner. Like I said we tested it a bunch at Auto Bilf Sportscars. I just wish it had abit more fun engineered into its Quattro system
The Golf R won't get this engine, I'm pretty sure about that. And as much fun as the Tesla Model 3 is to drive for an EV, I would never want one over a combustion engined sportscar. - Guido

Super cool. If I had the money, I don't know which one I would buy. A TTRS or an RS3.
TT, hands down😊

@@TheGetawayer Thanks for the reply ! Hard to find a better manual, except may be a 981 GT4 but at nearly 3 times the price, I'm not sure it worth it
Very safe, restricted car. That engine in anything would produce the same smiles if not more. We need to get that engine in the back of a car haha
Yes, hopefully we get another TT RS 👌

Yes, Davids views are strange. Mine are so low tough, I almost feel like its a scam by RUclips if people dont see them despite being subscribed😅

Hi what's your opinion on this compares with rs5
Can I say that I would have the RS4? 😁
Do you recommend the fixed sport suspension over the mag ride for TT RS?
No, the mag ride is better unless you want to go on track days regulary
Do these have real suspension systems yet? Multi link or wishbone?
MacPherson strut front suspension and four link rear suspension.
Real like leaf spring?
0:27 Joerg cousin's laugh 😁
Where have you been for so long?
I did a chat video with my buddy, where you can here all about it: ruclips.net/video/1UA1uj9Fk1k/видео.html
Habe ich das zum Ende richtig verstanden. Trotz OPF toller 5zylinder Sound ? 😅
Im Vergleich zu anderen Derivaten definitiv. Hör Dir mal meine Aufnahmen vom Porsche 992 an

Aber ohne OPF kommt der 5 Zylinder rotziger rüber

No disrespect but an EV TT would be real good if they make it compete Tesla model 3.
They can give the 5 cylinders to RS3 or Golf R.
