it's a best practice that no adjustments should typically come after the Output CST, as this node is responsible for converting the footage into the final delivery color space (e.g., Rec.709, HDR). Any changes after the Output CST risk altering the intended final look and might lead to inconsistencies.
Some of the effects require the paid version (noise reduction/halation/glow/hdr wheels). But if I’m not mistaken, the most crucial nodes are available in the free version (cst/primaries/log wheels/curves/luts).
Nikon bought out Red… and Nikon has a name as being the “bad” brand. So now Red is falling into that category lol! As for the legal issues behind what happened between the two companies, I’m not 100% sure
Click the menu button at the top right corner of your waveform, and select an option titled, “display qualifier focus”. As well, just make sure you have your qualifier enabled.
Hello! Thank you for this video! For the color space transform, what if I'm using a Canon RP? I used the ones you had on the video, but it looks very intense for my video... Can you help me ? :)
It all depends on the settings within your camera that you have selected. If there is no log image, try “use timeline settings” for the input options on your cst node. That should give you a better result🙌🏻
Interesting that you’re node tree is different from every other pro colorist on the Internet. Hmm? Hard to listen to your video because of that obnoxious music. Why do you think we need music to listen to what you have to say?
"Figure it out on your caaamera", that tickled me. Great video bro, thanks for the tips!

2:55 - how to enable these markers (small circles) on waveform to show you the levels of whatever you currently point on a clip?
Click the menu button at the top right corner of your waveform, and select an option titled, “display qualifier focus”.
As well, just make sure you have your qualifier enabled.
@@RiverCody thank you, finally!
