This is my first time actually watching you use the tools on an edit and I have to say, I was quite impressed with qt color compressor. It’s very powerful. Especially using the curve for the cutoff point. That was the sell for me. Keep up the good work brother. I will be looking into testing some of these out and then buying them. Have a good one.
I think next Id like to see color grading for cars/suvs/trucks in an outdoor setting. This can help people that make advertisements/promos for automotive dealerships!
Great video as usual. I tested used Temp/Tint in linear instead of using Offset and too me it was easier to keep the luminance and saturation intact. But even though Temp/Tint in linear was definitely more Global than Temp/Tint in non-linear i still felt it was less so than with Offset. A bit curious what you think are the real pros of Balancing with Temp/Tint in Linear instead of Offset.
Wagaz, show me how to create a black and white look correctly. This is one of the most difficult to control colors when achieving good results. How do I navigate Waveform and what tools should I use to get a balance between contrast and pure colors?
Couldn't you just have used an Instance of sat vs sat in the first version where you pull down the last remaining magenta-areas? Greetings, as always great Video!❤
There isn't visible magenta and not enough info for sat vs sat to do an accurate job. Still not the same cuz what if you actually have a magenta item in the shot.
Do you think its important to focus on color grading if I make TikTok videos about clothes? or is it waste of time and we should focus on just the editing part?
i like doing my exposure and balance in parallel nodes rather then both on same node so i can see them seperately when i turn them on and off...is it okay or is there sth wrong with it that idk?
Hey Qazi, I just watched this video of yours about the ipad m4 oled. Did you notice a slight shift in the whites? To me it looks like the OLED/IpadM4 screen is not very accurate in whites. Is that not a problem for color grading with it?
I got a average at delta e value of 0,2 and I Calibrate it and I got bang on full screen 1000 cm/d. The bigger issues with the iPad is that you can’t connect it to a IO device. Even if you could do it the GPU inside of the iPad would not give you a clean image signal. And also does the iPad not support rec. 2020. (btw. Tandem oled screen tec) not OLED .

Quick question, how is your project working space setup, are you working in Aces or DWG? before doing the idt and odt?

do you have a out for the clean white look?
How can i download the fotage for practice
I wish i wouldn't have just purchased 2 of the QT DCTLs.. i should have gotten the full bundle
Get it bro! 💪🏽
This compressor looks really nice, inbuilt one breaks the image too often
Agreed
Brilliant thank you. Can you recommend which of your videos to get started in grading? 😊
Go to my channel home page and start with the start here playlist.

i like your videos but it would have been nice if you drop project files to follow along.
do WB using the offset tool or do it using temp/tint?
but you told many times in yr previous videos "Giys do NOT use TEMP and TINT - use XY in HDR instead"
Hi Qazi, but what's the project settings?
How do I get the DCTL luts?

Do you had any idea and suggest a PC for beginners
why don't I have anything in DCTL ? :) i'm begginer
If the footage was shot in H265 10bit would you also set it into DaVinci wide gamut ?
Still works great with 10 bit video.
Still applicable

It’s definitely not a waste of time and specially this particular look would be of great use when it comes to showcasing clothes.

Nothing wrong with it. Either way is ok.

How do you use the panel with dctl?
You need an panel with an lcd screen.

your toolkit demo doesn't download. It just stop half way, it's the same with all the files. tried it a couple of times. Not working.

great
If you take out a tiny bit of magenta out of the gain from the "common method" it would look indistinguishable from your method...
