It made me feel so much better to hear you say that you usually don't feel like you have things in control in your garden! I feel slightly overwhelmed most of the time and I have to constantly remind myself that it doesn't matter if things aren't all tidy and under control. I have half an acre and am still learning, and have to cut myself some slack, but it really made me feel better to know that even a pro like you who spends way more time in her garden than I do still feels out of control most of the time. I guess I thought that the goal was to feel like I was the boss of my garden LOL Knowing that that might not ever happen is actually quite freeing.

Hi Laura and Aaron, I discovered Garden Answer about a month ago and I absolutely love you guys! I have been watching your videos every chance I get. Love, love, love it! I already had tons of admiration and respect for you guys but this q&a speaks volumes of both your character and gives me so much more respect for what you do. So many others would jump at the opportunity to make a quick dollar and abandon the one thing that makes them most happy. As far as planning layout, sometimes the best comes to you when your feeling it rather than trying to get it perfect. I hope you guys never stop and keep the beginner gardener in mind always. Oh yeah and last thing I jellly of the beard Aarons got going. Only five more years before I can do the same. 💚💚💚💚💚💚

I am so thankful for you both. For everything that you do. We just moved to Utah due to the Air Force. We walked into a mess in our yard with no irrigation system. We had one installed with new sod and now we have bare flower beds and I have no idea where to start. I’m chronically ill and only have so much energy everyday so I’m limited. But all I can think about is planting and digging in the dirt. I wish Aaron could box you up and send you here. You are amazing. I love seeing how your mind works and how you play things out in your mind. Your mind goes 90 mph when it comes to gardening. Love it. Love it. Fellow Oregonian here. Keep on making videos.

Hi!!! You guys are awesome!!! We love y’all so much and this is a perfect example of why. You are true to what you love and you do itbecause you love it!!! My husband and I share the same passion for gardening and it’s made a huge positive difference in our whole family’s lives. We have been so blessed for our children to love gardening as well. I’m so happy to hear you will be doing more irrigation videos. We have been going back and forth in doing drip system in our garden specially in front house just becouse it’s small and I thought I could manage by watering on my own. But here in NC the sun is starting to stress some plants and we are not in summer yet. So we have decided it’s best to put in a drip system I think that will help the plants a lot! Keep doing what you do guys the love y’all have for this shows sooo much and it spreads out and reaches people in such a positive way. From all my four kiddos and ourselves sending lots of love!💚💚💚💚💚💚

I'm so happy to hear ya'll say that you are both very content with your channel, the partnerships you have within the industry & your video output. The homegrown aspect of what ya'll do is what makes it so great. Too often someone will find success in an area & before you know it they are hawking & sticking their name on everything from cookbooks to perfume to home goods to furniture. And the reason you started following them gets so diluted with all their new endeavors that you stop following them. Thank you for staying true to 1) what ya'll love to do & 2) what we love to see ya'll do! xo

Hi guys, I am SO glad I stumbled onto you while searching for African violet info, I have been addicted to watching everything, I wanted to tell you about a product I used some 38 yrs ago for my daughter while I was in gardens, it was a wooden thing that opened into a circle, the largest it got I think was maybe 8' round, kinda looked like a lattice ring when opened, it was fabulous, just thought that might be great for you next yr when Benjamin is walking, nice soft grass to cushion the fall, I'm not sure where you can find one, but I'm sure these days if they're still out there, they'll be easy to hunt down.

You two are so cute together & I mean that in a very positive way!! You're both so lucky to be able to work from home & that you have family who can assist with watching your little guy so you can get your work done. Sometimes just a few hours out of the house, working in the dirt or pruning shrubs, can make all the difference in the world. Time goes so fast, esp when they're little & before you know it, he'll be "helping" you plant flowers.....you'll turn around & find tractors & dump trucks where you just planted flowers😉😄 along with Benjamin covered in dirt....or when he figures out how to turn the hose on & he stands between you & the valve, spraying water!! Boys are a JOY!!😂😂

Great video!! I'm planting a massive raised bed this year and the size kinda got away from us. So I'm trying real hard to go slow with all the planting (cause it's still cold here in the Chicago area). It's all a learning process and you and your videos help tremendously. Thank you so much for keeping it real! Thank you to Aron for his knowledge of the behind the scenes stuff. You work very well together. I really enjoy the videos! 🌻🌷🌻🌺
